Packaged well and securely. Putting together takes time, but I instructions are clear. Once I had the bed put together, it fits perfectly in the corner of my room, it’s sturdy on the ground, supports me very well (I’m 170lb) and does not creek or make any sounds at all. Material is very nice and the two drawers provided for the bed are MASSIVE. Plenty of room in these drawers, definitely bigger drawers than other bed frames. The drawers lock in and stay secure. First assembly went great, then I had to take it apart to move it the support boards were a real honest devil of job. The velvet is nice but could easily be damaged on the thin arms and back. The drawers are amazing and lock in so they aren't moving around every time you get on or off the thing. The kids use it as a bed and as a group couch for TV viewing. ... show more

I bought this for my son who wanted a more grown up looking bed. He LOVES it! It was challenging to put together, but that's mostly due to the size. It's sturdy, the drawers are huge, and it looks nice. If you want something that your kid can grow up in, this is definitely a great buy!

This was very easy to put together. The drawers are very spacious and give it a nice finished look (they also prevent my dog from going under the bed and hiding toys, a big plus there). It's very sturdy as well. With me, my roommate, and both our dogs sitting on the bed it's around 400lb and the bed didn't so much as squeak in protest. Was worried about getting big furniture through mail.. but it worked out great. I was concerned when box arrived looking disheveled, but all contents in box were in good condition. Instructions easy enough to follow. The drawers are not sturdy nor attached to frame, but my expectations were not high for them based on reviews anyway- best used for extra linens. This bed is comfy for lounging in, we use it with one of those rolled up mattresses you can also buy on amazon. Overall, it's a very nice bed, but there is one flaw with the drawers: the hook/lock. As the drawers are not on rails, they have a lot of room to wiggle in their spots, which makes locking them a bit frustrating. It's hard to tell if the hook is aligned with the hole when the drawer is closed and pressing the hook against the beam of the bed may have contributed to the hook sinking into the front of the drawer, making it less effective at locking into the hole. This might cause the hook to be unscrewed from the front drawer panel and fall into the beam. As there is no hole at the bottom of the beam, I had to use a wire and magnet to fish out the hook.
