Instructions were easy to follow, it came with extra parts incase something was lost or broken as well. The bed is sturdy. Paint is good. We really like the bed. But it wiggles no matter how much we tighten it. It also came in damaged but my daughter already had her heart set on getting it put up and my dad and brother had already came over to help put it up. So we just dealt with it.

This is a great loft bed, even for older kids. The instructions were very clear and this was time consuming to assemble, but not difficult. It is easier if you are able to use a power drill. The metal is all sturdy and well reinforced. The finish on it is shiny and thick, so it won't scratch off. When it is fully assembled, it is very sturdy, doesn't wobble or shake when you get up/down it. My daughter's only complaint is the ladder rungs are not rounded, so it is tough on her feet. We ended up putting some padding on them, but otherwise, she loves this bed and the extra space it's given her in her bedroom. ... show more
