This clips are very weak and have no good tension to pull the lights tightly.

Needed a replacement spring for one that got ejected and lost when we removed one of our LED recessed lights. Found these and figured they would work but these needed to be modified as there is no "catch" to hold tension for the spring to clamp. The open end of the spring is supposed to "catch" onto the light itself as you unwind the latch so it can clamp down on the sheet rock but the open end has no catching mechanism. I had to use two pliers to unwind one coil of the spring so there was some kind of catching material to add the tension against the light. Luckily, only need to replace one spring but if i were to have to do it again, its a pain. ... show more

I installed this clip to replace one that broke on me. Install was easy, but to my disappointment, the spring tension is too weak. I even twisted the spring one loop tighter since i didn't want to deal with the hassle of shopping for another one. Returning. Do not recommend

0 instructions. Poorly made. Needed this to replace some tabs I lost during a remodel. The small tab to control the spring pops out as soon as you try to place any tension on it.

Bought these to replace a few missing spring clips on my wafer lights. They do not stay in place and the spring tension is terrible.. Very cheap product
