The bed itself looks great. The material and overall style is exactly what we were looking for. It was also easy to assemble, which I was initially concerned about. They do a great job of pre-marking the various pieces for where to insert screws and what-not. The drawers roll easily and I love having the extra storage. I've seen a few other reviewers mention the support beams being an issue. Our bed came with 5 support beams instead of the 3 shown in the product picture, so I think they may have added those after some of the reviews. As a quick note, ALL bed frames like this will require a box spring or bunkie board. We shopped around at a few furniture stores and every single one mentioned that you need to have a box spring or bunkie board, even when the bed comes with a lot of slats. Beds are simply not designed to sit directly on slats (especially memory foam). We are currently using a low profile box spring, which works great, although the bed is a little tall and we may end up purchasing an ultra low profile or a bunkie board. ... show more

I should have read more closely to see box spring was needed. In pictures it appears to have just mattress on it, my fault for jumping to conclusions. We added extra slats above supports on frame and made it work with no box spring. Pretty fair quality for price but beware of the need for box spring to make it work. Remember you get what you pay for.... and I think I did. Happy with overall outcome for my son's room. ... show more

Assembly took over an hour to do between me and my husband. Instructions could have been a little more clear but we figured it out. We have a standard box spring which is way too high for this type of bed frame. We're gonna have to buy a bunky board. Other than that I currently have no other complaints. ... show more

Looks great after it's all put together. This comes in 3 separate boxes. I got 2 delivered, then the final box about 4 days later. The price changes a lot on this frame which is kind of suspect. Also, you will need some slats if you don't have a box spring.
