The media could not be loaded. Our bedroom windows had blinds already installed in them previously but they had worn down and snapped. I wanted to replace them with blinds that would be easy to install and block out as much light as possible. These blinds were not only very simple to snap into the previous blind’s already installed clips, but they are very pretty, clean, easy to lower and raise, and provide even better light blocking than our old ones did! I had ordered another shade from this same company for my kitchen, but it was a light filtering one, which is what I wanted there. I wanted a room darkening one in my living room so it could be dark if I wanted to watch movies. This was an easy installation, I'm a 70-year-old female and had no problem. Please know that the size that you order is exactly the size that will come. Some shade companies subtract a certain amount from the sides, but this company does not. So what you order is exactly what will come. So if you want more space on either side of your blind, between the blind and the window wall, subtract a quarter or half inch from the total width...for an I side mount. Take a look at my pictures and you can see how close it is to the sidewall. I wish I had subtracted a quarter inch, but they fit and still slide just fine. And maybe this is better for a room darkening because no light sneaks through on the side. They appear to be well constructed. The price was competitive. ... show more

I know its just a shade, but let me tell you.....I am IMPRESSED. For starters the cost....chef's kiss! I was looking at shades that cost $50-100 more with the same average reviews, so I decided to throw caution to the wind and try this one. Arrived 6 days ahead of expected arrival date from when I first ordered (yay!)....took about 5 minutes to install, and it is a true blackout shade. It's not very sturdy, but certainly does the job for room darkening in my bathroom. I ordered white, blackout, which becomes more gray than white due to the blackout material inside the pleats. But it works well and was easy to install. Fit was exactly to my measurements

I have 6 of these blackout shades in white/various sizes. We had professional shutters installed in all of our windows last year. They look beautiful! Unfortunately on one side of our house the sun is so hot and heats the entire half of the house. I got these to use on the windows to cool things down. They are also 99% blackout if they fit the window exact(no space on sides). They work beautifully! My expensive shutters cover these but on their own they look simple and streamlined. My window professional guy charges $350 plus for something similar and $450 for a really wide window. I have mounted these 2 ways. Theses can be clipped into the enclosed mounts or I used gorilla 2 sided clear tape to mount on a window I had no room to use the mounts (On a large bifold shutter patio door-I used 2 shades instead of one big one-so I can use the door) The gorilla tape comes off clean most (not all) surfaces if I should need to change these out if I decide to tint the windows in the future. My husband likes the easy up down with no visible strings! They are inside the blind. A clear heavy duty plastic clip on pull (included) can be used if you don’t want to touch the actual blind. I used this on 3 of my blinds. These keep the heat and light out. For one of the windows I ordered a blind 3 inches less than the width of the window since I had a window alarm device in the way. My shutters cover this. I recommend ordering at least 8-10 inches longer than you need since the blinds like to crunch up slightly for the exact length window measurements leaving a one inch of light gap at the bottom. When these are all the way up they look like a professional shade should look-streamlined and unobtrusive. I really love the quality of these at a great price. Way better than home improvement off the shelf versions which cost the same. ... show more
