This product cuts down on the number of cords across our porch from the AC outlet to the front planter. At the planter it splits out to three different light strands. It works well, especially since it cuts down on the number of vulnerable failure areas when it's wet.

I must say I love this extension cord!! It is so much more versatile than the standard 3-way block cords. I was much easier to reach all my outside Christmas decorations and I was able to position them more freely due to the extra reach. The main cord is about 7’ long then each of the three female splits are about 6’ long each. I personally like to electrical tape wrap my plugs to keep out water and condensation, and with the individual plugs it was SO much easier to do. The only 2 things I had an issue with were: 1. The caps that cover the female plugs when not in use are very weak, and flimsy. They broke off already within 1 day of owning. To solve this I just used electrical tape to tape them on the side of the plug so that when I need to put them away I know where they are. 2. I ordered 2 of these one worked perfectly the other one had an issue with the male plug from my decoration not seating all the way into the female end of the extension cord. This can be dangerous and cause electrical fires if the grounding plug does not "seat" in all the way. Therefore, I contacted Amazon returned it and they overnight-ed me a new one which works and “seats” all three female ends all the way. I would be cautious of that if ordering. When you receive verify all three female ends “seat”. If even one doesn’t "plug in" or “seat” all the way return and reorder. But this was obviously a fluke Overall I 100% recommend this and I couldn’t be happier.
