Rear and side water attachments can be placed on tile saw to catch over-spray from large tile to keep the water in the pan.The D24000S includes a 10" Wet Tile Saw with a stand that folds for easy transporting and storage. The stand holds the 69-pound Wet Tile Saw and provides an ideal work space. Durable aluminum framing and stainless steel rails are built to stand up to the tough jobsite environment. Lightweight folding stand easily sets up on the job and stores in the truck Light, ultra-powerful, and a breeze to set-up, the D24000S from DEWALT is ideal for renovating bathrooms, cutting porcelain and stone, or tiling a kitchen back splash or floor. The D24000S ships in two boxes and includes the D24000 saw and the D24001 stand. The saw motor tilts and locks at 45 or 22.5 degrees for clean, smooth cuts without the need for an accessory cart block, and adjustable rollers help properly align the table. When tackling large projects, you'll appreciate the 24-inch ripping capacity (18-inch tile on diagonal). To ensure smooth operation, two adjustable water nozzles allow for the correct positioning of spray on the blade, while optional rear and side water attachments capture over-spray so water stays in the five-gallon pan. Additionally, a 3-1/8-inch depth of cut gives you the option of cutting the majority of V-caps and pavers, and an edge guide with dual position 45-degree guide makes it a snap to line-up corner cuts. There's also an efficient 1.5 HP motor, flip-style edge guide for 90 and 45 degree set-up, and a tub-style bottom with four molded sections that fit into the included stand. And because there's a fully integrated durable stainless steel rail system in the saw frame, you'll enjoy precise cuts every time. When you're done for the day, the removable cutting cart gives you better access to the saw so you can clean up quickly and easily.

  • Best saw for me!
Style: Wet tile saw
Only having the saw for two weeks, I can't speak for the longevity of the saw, but my experience so far has been very positive. First and very important. Amazon has the saw without the stand for $699 which is a bit pricey by wetsaw standards, but it's a good price for this saw. This saw does come with a blade (thin rim but decent) but not the stand which you can purchase additionally for another $50. Bringing your total to roughly $750. If you purchase the kit with the stand included, the package price is $849. Do the math... an immediate $100 savings! The saw was pretty simple to set-up, as others have said, it's about 20 to 30 minutes. Out of the box, my saw cut very true and needed no adjustment. Here are my pros and cons: Cons: Price - This saw is expensive Size - The saw with the tray is very large. You need ample work area with this saw. I know this is a contradiction to my "pros" comments, but when size matters, you need the tool to get the job done Weight - As I get older, I used carts or dollies moving tools & materials so weight isn't a huge issue for me, but be aware it is 70+ lbs Pros: Size - This saw has an amazing rip capability. My first project with this saw were 12" x 24"'s and it was great to cut in a single pass. Fence - The fence and miter gauge area actually usable and lock into place very well. Water System - The adjustable spray on the blade is great to control splash. I wish you could control flow a little better though. Plunge Cutting - One simple knob and you're cutting receptacles, fixtures, etc. much easier. All in all, this is a great saw. It has the ability to cut most larger format tiles on the market today, it cuts accurately and it's Dewalt quality. I can't say I'm disappointed in any way, but I will comment on one item and it may be me as OCD as I am at times. Even with 5 gallons of water in the tray, the pick-up on the pump is not completely submerged when laid on it's side. I don't see it as an issue, although I'm sure Little Giant would want their pump completely submerged for efficiency and longevity. I haven't read anyone else comment on the issue. ... show more

  • Awesome
Style: Wet tile saw w/stand
Easy set-up. Simple to use. Great cutting ability. This is an upgrade for me, and it's a fantastic saw. Cut smooth. You move the tile on a moveable table to the saw, no dragging of your tiles on a stationary table top. Good weight, not too heavy. Table folds down and stores easily.

  • Good saw, bad blade
Style: Wet tile saw w/stand
I ordered this saw for my diy bathroom/shower tiling project. At first I installed the blade that came with it - and it was chipping cheap Mohawk porcelain tile badly. Like really bad. After about 20 cuts it got a bit better, but still the results were unacceptable. I decided to order another blade - Pearl P5 mesh and it was night and day. Now my cuts at good for visible install. The manual is terrible. Just one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The photos are rare and are wrong. The description is confusing. My recommendation - place the pump into a 4-5 gallon bucket. It will keep the saw cleaner, it will pump fresh water and not muddy water. Also, when you place it down under the saw you will decrease water pressure and it will reduce mist that is spraying everywhere otherwise. The saw does zero dust but mist water to left/front and right/front. So you need to cover the area around. No mist/spray to the ceiling or to back. The blade wasnt 90° our of the box, but it took me 7 min to adjust it with a square. Another advice - use the blade that comes with it for rough jobs, like pavers and stuff. For tile buy Pearl P5. The cuts are straight. Some people complained about the saw drifting, my doesnt. It is perfect for 24x12 porcelain. You can chop, rip or do straight cut. Make sure the saw is not level left to right, but instead has slight tilt to left. It will prevent water from running over tile to the right beyond the drip tray if you cut long tile (24 tile will extend beyond the drip tray if you cut slivers). I placed pump Into 4 gallon bucket, placed bucket into big trash can to keep splashes contained when the saw is drained (it has plug in a tray). This is $1k tool and I want it to be clean not dirty and ugly. ... show more
