Original equipment!
Style: STRING TRIMMER
Perfect fit! Haven’t tried it yet but it is a dewalt!

works like it should
Style: STRING TRIMMER
Tried a substitute head for $10 cheaper. Started letting all the string out after a week. Not worth the headache, just got the original Dewalt part.

Installed fast and is an excellent design!!!
Style: STRING TRIMMER
Very nice weed-eater head that bolted right onto my DeWalt 20 V cordless weed eater. It spins much easier due to it being 20% smaller and lighter than the original DeWalt head. Now I slice through grass, weeds, and small plants like a hot knife through warm butter 🧈 Excellent product👍

Finally. A new version that works.
Style: STRING TRIMMER
So much better than the frustrating original head spool that came with the unit. It is feeding the plastic string properly and it seems to be made with more solid plastic. Easy to load and unload.

Good fit for my 20v max weed trimmer
Style: STRING TRIMMER
Worked good on my 20v weed trimmer as a replacement easy to load string and works as it should.

Compatible with my weed whacker
Style: STRING TRIMMER
Prompt delivery. Replacement part compatible with my weed whacker. Works well. Replacing the part was a bit of a project. DeWalt doesn't make it easy to just swap it. Needed tools to install properly. Not a problem with the product but rather a design issue. The item itself works well once you install it.

Broke under normal use—failed in less than 3 weeks!
Style: STRING TRIMMER
I bought this replacement head on August 6th for my DEWALT DCST922 trimmer. I have owned this trimmer for over five years and know how to use it, but this replacement head is garbage. On only my third or fourth use, the factory-preloaded string jammed up, snapped off, and immediately wrapped itself tightly around the motor shaft under the spool head.I was doing normal yard work and grazed a standard rock, and the entire internal tracking system completely gave out. The white alignment lines will no longer line up, and the inner tube is totally jammed up so I can't even thread new line through. The plastic quality is incredibly brittle compared to the original. I am returning it for a refund. Save your money and buy the upgraded DWZSTH999 model from an authorized hardware store instead. I am skeptical that this is an authorized Dewalt Product-my original head lasted 5 years.
