Made several cuts of 12'x3' ribbed roofing and it works great. Imo setting your drill to low gear, highest torque works best. Don't be in a hurry and don't be afraid to use some elbow grease to get it through the ribs. Takes a cut or two to get the hang of it. I have a Ryobi P238 18V One+ Brushless Cordless Impact Driver (just copied the name) and this fits well. I like that the fit is customizable. I had a bunch of sheet metal roofing to cut for a small project, and this thing just ate it up. Even the little "V" ribs that try to twist and bend with shears were not problem. I got all the cutting done in under 10 minutes; it would've easily taken over 30 by hand (probably longer). I haven't tried these on a drill, but I imagine the result would be similar, just slower. Probably run smoother for a more precise cut though (rough work was good enough for my project). ... show more

This product is good for cutting off metal sheets, metal roof pieces, or if the end you are cutting is going to be hidden somewhere. If you desire a "perfect" straight line cut, this is not the tool for that. Also if there's a ridge that needs to be cut off, then this tool is hard to maneuver. I recommend this product if it's for a quick cut off. I do not recommend if you need straight line or if there's a ridge that you need to cut through, because this one is hard to keep a straight line or cut-off a ridge on the metal sheet. ... show more
