I had the chance to use these last week to cut some thicker steel tubular framing for a metal privacy panel as well as some aluminum framing for a screened patio. I went through several of my other metal cutting wheels and finally opened this package. They cut well, didn't break, and seemed to wear down at about the same rate as the other wheels I had been using, so I'd says they are comparable to other average cutting wheels. These cutoff wheels grab less the edges of the cut and kickback less. I think it is because these are 1/16 thick and the label surface has less friction. I can make more accurate cuts and the kerf is thinner than other cutoff wheels.
