Great tool. Very grabby. Clamp your work and use both hands. This wheel removes a lot of wood at a swipe. Will do the same to flesh. Be advised!

    • Stump grinder!
This is now my go to for small to medium stumps. Pre drilling holes helps. And 4" is the perfect size for battery operated grinders. Won't stall as much as 4.5 but will kick hard.

Very impressed with this tore it eats right through the wood easy to handle just make sure you don’t have a nail because it will destroy the teeth and make it useless

AS NOTED IN SOME OTHER REVIEWS THIS DISC TENDS TO GET DULL RATHER QUICKLY. I WAS GRINDING DOWN A 10" DIAMETER TREE STUMP (MULBERRY) WHICH WENT DOWN IN A RECENT STORM. STARTED OFF WITH GOOD SIZE CHIP REMOVAL AND WITHIN 15 TO 20 MINUTES THE BLADE HAD GOTTEN DULL AND WAS ONLY REMOVING A SMALL AMOUNT PRODUCING FINE SAWDUST. I GOT ABOUT 50% OF THE STUMP REMOVED IN THE FIRST 15 TO 20 MINUTES AND IT TOOK ANOTHER 32 HOURS TO GET THE STUMP DOWN TO JUST BELOW GROUND LEVEL. IF YOU USE THIS ITEM FOR STUMP REMOVAL, I RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE SEVEROL OF THE DISCS. ... show more
