Mighty convenient for bench grinder wheels. No need to construct a guide as with a single-point dresser. Worked well to break glaze on a silicon carbide (green) wheel I use for carbide lathe tools. Mine is just a hobby shop - I may not need to dress that wheel again for months, so can't offer an opinion on durability. No too sanguine about it, but the price is low, so give it a try. A bit of a surprise how much microfine dust (very fine particles of the wheel) this puts into the air. Next time I'll hold a vacuum hose close to gather that in. Don't want to be breathing it, don't want it settling on my machines. ... show more

Works well, especially for the price. I have noticed that it wears out after multiple uses so I'll likely have to buy another one soon. Also, it did not true my wheel, it just gave it a new surface. I may be using the tool wrong, but I could not get it to true the wheel.
