  • I love dewalt
Style: 60V Battery
As you can see from my other reviews I have almost every Dewalt cordless product and a few corded ones as well. The blower works great. Awesome power. It blows anything away. I used to have the slightly lower spec 60V version. But when this came out I replaced it. And I wasn't disappointed. Relatively light (depending on battery used) and lasts on a single charge for every job I have done so far. Have completed renovated 2 houses and onto number 3. The backyards often require a lot of clearing and landscaping. This was a useful addition to my tool collection. Great work dewalt. ... show more

  • A company that backs their name!!
Style: 60V Battery
THE DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60 VOLT MAX BLOWER...is a great blower, I have had it for just a few months and it serves my purpose more then adequate. My last blower I had was a gas and it was for commercial use and their is no comparison between gas and battery, so if you have a really large piece of property or a few acre's then you will probably want gas. but if you are live in a residential the DEWALT is perfect, or your a contractor and need one for the job its perfect for that also, or if you don't much care for extension cords or the storage of gas then you will love it. But the main reason I decided to write this review was because the service I had, so here is my story. So the reason I bought this product was because after all the research I did on blowers I figure it was a toss up with the top two products out there, but since most my battery powered tools I owned were DEWALT, and I have been very happy with them, I decided to go with the brand that has never steered me wrong! So I bought this tool November 2020, I probably used the blower every other week and just a few months later I went to use the blower and the battery was dead, it would not charge and the cost of a new battery was over atleast $200. I tried to return it through Amazon but the warranty was no longer valid as of Jan 31, 2021, I was one week to late. So I looked further from who I bought it from on Amazon it read CPO Outlets, so I called them and they told me it was under warranty and I could Print out a return postage on their web site and send it in or stop on by for them to look at the blower. Since I was lucky enough to live with in 45 minutes away, I decided to drive to the company. Well as I pulled up to the address I saw a good size DEWALT store, I took my Blower inside for them to look at and offered to give them my information from the sight and they told me they didn't need it, they checked the blower out and the battery to see where the problem was coming from, and determined that the battery was bad and took my address and said I would receive one in the mail shortly. Before I left I ask them how can you just give me a $200. battery and not ask any questions, they told me the serial numbers and markings on each component lets them know what year and month each was made, they then told me the Blower had a 1 year warranty and the Battery had a 3 year !! I just received my battery today which is Feb 14, 2021, just a week after my visit. THATS AWESOME SERVICE!!!! DEWALT you have yourself a life long customer, Thankyou for standing behind your name. • Great Product A+++
Style: 60V Battery
I read some of the negative reviews on here about batteries and chargers, I have had mine for over a year and use it almost daily to blow off the driveway and my deck. I use the 60V Flex 9.0 AMP batteries in it and I have never had a problem. I have many different flex volt tools and use these batteries for many different tools. I highly recommend it. It does not have the power of a gas powered Stihl BR800X (912 CFM 240 MPH)by no means, but it's quiet and has plenty of power and battery life for general cleanup around the house or job site. One feature I really like is being able to lock in a low speed to blow leaves out of the flower beds so you don't damage the flowers. In my opinion its a better electric blower than anything I've tried and the flexibility of using different tools with the same batteries in awesome. ... show more

  • Very nice product.
Style: 60V Battery
Very nice product... Met my expectation for Dewalts quality and the power is impressive for such a portable and easy to use tool. I finally made the switch from a gas blower and after the last leaf cleanup of the fall it was very nice not to have to mess with winterizing anything. The battery life leaves a little to be desired but it is acceptable given the power it is generating. Plus, already having adopted other dewalt 20V tools its very nice to be able to use this 60V battery as a large capacity 20V in my driver, recip saw or flashlight if needed. It handles quick cleanups after mowing or yard work perfectly and can even get through an entire leaf session in my very wooded yard. (disclaimer: i have a lot of leaves in a very small yard) This tool, with a full charge and running continuously on full power lasts around 15-20 minutes. ... show more

  • Excellent Blower
Style: 60V Battery
The blower works great. Powerful and forceful. Great air flow and much quieter than other brands. The battery lasts a long time and allows me to blow out the garage, driveway, sidewalks and still have battery life left. Very happy with the product.

  • DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX* Blower: Light weight; Powerful: No Power cords - DO NOT BUY
Style: 60V Battery
Changing My Review on the DeWalt 60V Max Blower Here it is April 23, 2024 and the blower that I purchased for my husband in October of 2023 no longer works. It is dead. There is nothing that can be done to fix it. I can't believe that I spent over $300 for a blower that lasted only 6 months. I would not recommend this to anyone. Look for another brand of blower if you want to get your money's worth out of the blower. We have had competitor's blowers that have lasted for years. DO NOT PURCHASE DEWALT. DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX* Blower My husband has been wanting this for a long time, so I thought I would get it for him. He was so excited when he saw it on the front porch. It is everything he wanted and more. It put it together immediately and then showed it off to the neighbors. Then he got to work on our yard. It is everything it was built up to be, and then some. It put his previous blower to shame. He said he wants to get more Dewalt tools in the future. We are going to highly recommend this blower. ... show more

  • Works Great to Blow Pine Needles Off Vehicles
Style: 60V Battery
I use this almost daily to blow off pine needles from my truck before heading out. (This year has been especially bad due to the air pollution and dry weather affecting the pine trees.) I highly recommend this blower. PROS: You won't smell like exhaust fumes when your done and you can use it indoors without suffocating yourself; great for garages and workshops. The battery included is the DCB609 9AMP version (60V @3A or 20V@9A); usually you will see the DCB606 6AMP version on other sets. The DCB609 9A batteries are $149 alone, charger = $34.95; so your paying about $75.55 for the blower. The DCB609 6A batteries which run about $116 bucks WILL WORK, although your run-time is reduced by 33%. As a side note they just now (Nov 2018) make a monster DCB612 12AMP battery; I've not tried this 12A version yet as they don't come with any kits that I've seen and they are $200 each. CONS: This uses 60V Flexvolt Batteries ONLY, your 20V Dewalt batteries WILL NOT WORK. I've not had any belt issues with the unit but others have reported this problem. My guess is that many users have had particles or rocks in the belt system which would chew it up quick. This said I'm not sure why they would go with a belt verses a gearbox, probably heat or friction reasons. After one year of heavy use I've noticed the battery life dropped by 20%. I run this unit until the batteries dead and then fully charge before the next use. Advice = Don't trickle charge the batteries, lithium cells have fairly high internal resistance so they won't discharge on you for many months. Summary: This unit is a 9 out of 10, it's worth it for the battery that comes with it if you have other 20V or 60V Dewalt tools. Don't buy the kits that have 20V batteries, they wont work in this unit and the 60V (only) Flexvolt line of tools blows away (ha ha) the 18V/20V "legacy" line. ... show more

  • Whats up with the charger?
Style: 60V Battery
This thing is a great cordless non dino burning blower, it does eat the battery though. The -2 stars is because it comes with a 20V slow battery charger and comes with a single 60V battery. When you drain a 3AH battery (9AH equivalent 20V battery) that sucker takes a long time to charge on the 20V charger. Most people use a blower at the end of the job, and it sucks to not be able to wrap up due to a flat battery. This blower has medium-high power compared to my 2-stroke echo and a spare charged battery would have kept me from pulling a cord after this Dewalt pittered out, it probably lasted 10-15 minutes locked on full blow. The battery took around 1.5 hours to charge although I wasn't monitoring it closely. Who wants to wait that time to wrap up when they could hit the shower and start the real weekend... Moral of the story, I like the blower, they should have included the new 60V charger but as long as you buy a spare battery you should have enough runtime for most jobs. I'm migrating to the Dewalt flexvolt system from my 15 year old 18V Dewalts and am impressed with the power of the blower and the the circular saw that just arrived, the saw came with two batteries and the fast charger so I should be covered for any job that requires those two tools. I'd be down for a lawn mower to retire the old Honda now that we have a smaller grass area to maintain. and for some reason I really want the sliding miter and table saw even though I have perfectly good extension cords. ... show more
