  • Best Landscaping Tool EVER!!!
My new go-to gardening/landscaping tool. Lightweight (less than 5 pounds with a 3 AH battery), versatile, ergonomically comfortable (easy to switch from left hand to right hand when getting into tight spots), easy to use one or two handed. Using with 3AH batteries - gives me plenty of time to work. I always need a break before my fully charged saw runs out of battery life. FYI - this is not in use for mere landscape maintenance. Husband (with chainsaw) and I have been slowly hand-clearing quick growing invasive trees from a half acre lot. You can’t imagine how fast these demon trees grow lol. Chainsaw is too heavy for me and way too much maintenance. This wonderful “grab and go” tool is a game-changer, allowing me to get into tight places my husband hasn’t had a chance to get to yet. Easily saws through up to 4” branches, would probably do more, but safety first. Also cuts through roots with no worries about running into rocks (my carbide blades actually cut cleanly through rocks - just once by accident, but boy was I surprised). The only thing it won’t do is cut thin, floppy branches. Since the saw goes back and forth, it just grabs those and shakes them. Minor, since I can easily cut those with loppers anyway. I would have gotten one of these years ago if I had known how life-changing it would be. Love this tool! :-) ... show more

  • Great product, prompt delivery
The order arrived when promised (within 48 hours) and the delivery driver actually walked down our 1/5 mile icy driveway in the dark. It arrived in excellent condition and works well. A good quality product.

  • DEWALT DCS369B ATOMIC 20V MAX Cordless One-Handed Reciprocating Saw
This DCS3698B Atomic 20V reciprosaw seems pretty decent overall. Its compact and light compared to my other Dewalt 20V reciprosaw. I've had it a few weeks and have used it mainly for cutting 2X and strapping, PVC conduit and liquid tight NM conduit up to 2-inch, AL SEU cable and triplex conductors up to 4/0. I cut a piece of 3/4-inch EMT the and it seemed to work well enough with small metal cutting blade that came with it. The saw has a short 5/8-inch stroke and needs a little forward pressure to help keep it biting into the material being cut. It does seem to run pretty smooth without much vibration, although if you don't keep some pressure on it and steady the workpiece while cutting it can flutter back and forth without making much progress. The shoe on the saw pivots and the blade can be reversed for easier plunge cutting. The trigger is variable speed and of course has a lock off. The saw came with a belt clip and two blades, one standard wood cutting blade and one a short 3-inch metal cutting blade. I use the saw with a 5Ah battery and so far haven't had one run down on me even after many cuts. This little saw is not a replacement for a full size reciprosaw, but it is very handy to have for working with conduit on a ladder and for making quick cuts here and there for service work. ... show more

  • Very light and powerful
Very handy, and the stroke depth is not bad, still cuts fast. I needed to make some soffit repairs and do frequent rough cuts. I could maneuver it easily on a high ladder.

  • Love this bad boy.
When you need the power of a reciprocating saw but you’re working in a tight space or have only one spare hand, this bad boy will help you get the job done. Believe it.

  • I'm liking the atomic line
I like that with the smaller size the power welas not sacrificed. Huge difference in size and weight from my previous model. This is much more easier to work with, especially for a dyi-er. I would say its speed is above the old xr model and it's does not feel that it vibrates as much. The blades can be changed in a seconds. Not the the older models offered a less quality build, but the atomics really feel focused on ergonomics and comfort for small dyi jobs around the house ... show more

  • Don’t waste time researching
I spent so much time researching and comparing. Contemplating the purchase. I Have an old Chicago reciprocating saw that I always dread using and thought I could make do. So happy with my purchase. Light weight, easy to zip around the property. Has already in three weeks came in very handy on multiple projects including landscaping, treehouse for the kids and demo on lots of items that needed cut down to get into the dump. Most of the time I am able to use only one hand, others require more force two hands. Worth every penny. ... show more
