Description
Complete tough jobs utilizing the power of the 20V XR 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench. Delivers 1320 ft-lbs of max fastening torque and 1900 ft-lbs of max breakaway torque, up to 71% more than DCF899, making it ideal for heavy-duty fastening applications. After 4 seconds of impacting, the tool automatically provides an increase in power to aid in loosening stubborn fasteners. Other features such as PRECISION WRENCH mode, to help prevent overtightening and fastener run-off, a 4-speed mode select to easily change speeds, and LED brightness are included to help maximize efficiency and productivity on the jobsite. This impact wrench is much more powerful than expected from a battery powered device, and heavier... a testament to the build quality, imo. Specs, if I recall correctly, have it at 1800 torque removal and 1300ish tightening. Battery has a switch to set to auto, 1, 2, or 3 power. Great buy, would recommend.

It was a lot of money for me because I don't have that much use for it but I loved it, i what a powerful impact drill and I gat it It was worth every penny, every time I need it. I know I have it and it would do the job that i'm looking for even if it's a small or a big job. Very good power tool

This thing is phenomenal, the garage I went to to have work done to my car put the lug nuts back on so tight I couldn't get them off, I had a breaker bar with a pipe on it and it was flexing so bad I thought it was going to break, they wouldn't budge, I got this impact out and just out of curiosity figured I would try on medium setting and to my surprise it took them right off, best investment ever. Needs 10 Stars

Love this Impact. First time using today since I bought it about 3 weeks ago. I used 2 out of the 4 settings for torque and let me tell you it has the power! I was expecting this thing to twist my wrist but not even close. It operated very smoothly and wasn’t as heavy as I read from other reviews.I also used a black and yellow battery that I bought off TikTok and worked great with it. Definitely recommend.

Impressive

I just received it. And at first glance and feel it's a five and it's my favorite tool already... It is a beast, lol. I bought it specifically for a 36 mm axle nut, (because my passenger side seized from rust or whatever) and I ended up grinding that axle nut down to change that wheel hub assembly. Step brother told me it was the air gun I was using. Not enough behind it and he'd bring over his Milwaukee that supposedly could do it.... Well it did, lol, and I was so impressed that I bought the DeWalt the next day (since DeWalt is the brand I already have). So anyways, I will be changing out both wheel hub assemblies since these new parts have a 5-year warranty and I still have the driver side to do. I will rewrite the review or add to it I guess depending on that. This is the 900 lb compared to I think his was the 750 or something but the Dewalt will twist your wrist when you pull the trigger, lol. Massive torque and that's what impressed me immediately.

Torque Monster!

Overall, I think this unit is going to pretty much take down any obstacle. It has three impact settings (1,2,3) as well as a mode that will stop impacting quickly after meeting sufficient resistance. I used it, so far, exclusively on setting 3 (MOAR TORQUE!!!) for removing and installing lug nuts. For this job, it is overkill! It makes short work of any comers. The unit is bulky and weighty, but it also is able to take a licking without issue. I accidentally dropped it from the top of the bed of my truck (about 4.5' from the ground), and it bounced of the pavement without anything but a light scratch on the aluminum housing. If you're working it, it will eat the batteries, but I did a full tire rotation on two vehicles and it used little of my 6 amp-hour battery (afterward, I put it in the weed trimmer and made it through most of my yard before I had to swap batteries). Sockets can be a slight pain to secure to the chuck, but it also holds them reasonably well without being frustrating. The only thing that I do not like about it is the impact application. It is surprisingly jumpy when impacting. Compared to its main Milwaukee rival, it is downright crude in this respect. It jumps enough to cause pain in the wrist holding it, and that is simply not something that has ever happened with big red. Don't get me wrong, it will definitely knock things loose, but you're going to feel it, too. If you have the DeWalt tool ecosystem, get this! But, if you also have Milwaukee tools, then I recommend the competing product over this one.
