Just What I Needed And Wanted
This is a Libbey 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish, NOT a 2 Quart Covered Casserole Dish. I wanted a 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish, because I already had a 1 1/2 Quart Covered Casserole Dish, and a 2 Quart Uncovered Casserole Dish, which needed to be covered most times, before placing in my microwave or convection toaster oven. I wanted a 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish to have a little extra room, and to not have to cover it with something other than its lid. It goes from microwave, toaster oven, or oven right to table, or refrigerator, if there are leftovers. I love this oval shape, it's very easy to clean too. It is a little heavy, which is to be expected. I am happy with this Libbey 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish. It's just what I wanted. A 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish that looks nice and is useful, and easy to clean.

Absolutely love, perfect for roasting, even in a toaster oven
I got the 64 ounce oval dish for use in my toaster oven, and I absolutely love it. This casserole dish is heavy duty, all glass and easy to clean, goes in the dishwasher fine, and I love the way things cook in it. It can yield results similar to a crockpot or slow cooker, only in my toaster oven. Wonderful investment for people who need something versatile in a small kitchen. My husband was raving that the pork shoulder I made in this in the toaster oven was the juiciest and most delicious he had ever had. This is a wonderful dish. Great for old-fashioned roasting in a small space. You can make pot roast for 1-2 people in this so perfectly.

Love this dish!
I have recently been in the market for some new bakeware and came upon this glass beauty. I love the dish so much. You can cook so much in it. I do a lot of casseroles and this is perfect for a casserole or side dish. Love the unique shape and top on it. Great for oven cooking and dishwasher friendly. Also makes for a great housewarming or Christmas gift!

Original libby glass dish
Came in libby box. So it is a libby product though it does not say libby on the dish. Bought it to get a tight seal to make rice in oven. Works well though you have to be cateful to make sure you get a tight seal as it can easily be decieving. Easy to clean. Really like it. Just the right size to make 3 or 4 servings depending on how large your serving size is. Over all I am very pleased with this purchase. I have no problem with the handles

Like these narrow casserole dishes....
Love glass casseroles. Just plain glass, thank you very much! Also, love the narrow oval design because it fits better in my fridge. Just plain glass, or the old Pyrex and baking dishes are just so easy to clean. A good soak and a good easy scrub and the are done! I love this one from Libby! Was so happy to find one online, because forget finding one in the average brick and mortar stores anymore. Word to the wise: Do not be average!

A kitchen must have!
I use it almost every night. it's great to quick cook veggies (asparagus, summer squash, zucchini, broc, cauli etc) in 5 minutes or less in the microwave. Cut up potatoes with peppers/onions/seasoning in 20 min. In the oven I use it for everything from manicotti, ravioli in sauce to bread puddings. I love that it has the cover - and yay handle to get hold off and transport safely. Saves doing dishes too, if there are left overs I can let it cool and put it right in the fridge! Then just heat it up and serve again! This was a gift to my daughter, I've been using my own for over 50 years. Have never seen one explode like these new ones on the market, reviews scared me away from those. Best to stay with tried and true.
