  • Lots of parts - have lots of patience
Size: 6FT*4FT Color: Brown
It’ll take all day - have lots of patience! Hint 1: Don’t assemble in full sun. You’ll be in sun all day! Put the dog in the house - he’ll just mess everything up. Hint 2: Study the plans and read ahead. The parts make sense if you line up the holes with the subsequent steps. The diagrams are poor. But it does work correctly. Hint 3: Use a magnetic screwdriver head. The screws are small and easily lost. I would use a manual screwdriver vs a screwdriver drill - it’s easier to aim for the tiny holes. Hint 4: Have one of your kids put the plastic washers on the screws - there are “hundreds” of them! It’ll speed up the build. Hint 5: Assemble it on a level surface. Keep it as square as possible. The holes will line up easier. Hint 6: All the painted sheet metal parts have plastic film to prevent scratches. It takes forever to remove it. I gave up on it and left it on except the triangular vent parts. Maybe the other film will peel off with age! Hint 7: Have a cold beer. Have the wife give you a back rub. You made it thru an ordeal - just to have place to put the freakin lawnmower! ... show more

  • Lots of mediocre flaws, but you get what you pay for
Size: 6FT*4FT Color: Brown
Purchased 4x6 model. -Instruction manual is lacking necessary details and make building very difficult and inconvenient -QAQC of parts are less than mediocre where important parts are bent here and there. -Certain parts are different from manual and parts list. I believe it was US3 or something like that which form the frame of the upper of the wide sides. Had to use self-drilling screws and the process was not fun. Feels like all I wrote were Cons, but I only list Pros that are excelling compared to competition products. However, as I was building it with my dad, he made a point that You get what you pay for. So for a product with a $250 s/h included price tag, it's not a bad product. So it's a 4star. ... show more

  • Budget friendly Storage
Size: 5FT*3FT Color: Brown
The media could not be loaded. I needed a proper storage to keep my lawn mower and other tools out of the elements. This shed was one of the cheapest I could find for the size offered. The package came without any damage to the box or pieces inside. To start I had built a simple base because my backyard was mulch. I don’t recommend putting it straight on the ground because there is no “floor” to this shed. I went to my local home depot and spent $11 on a 4’x8’ sheet of OSB and $12 on 4 pieces of 2x4 and some nails. With a hammer, tape measure, circular saw I built this base 36”x72”. As you can see it’s longer then the shed as intended. The shed was fairly easy to assemble and instructions were clear enough. I alone was able to put it up in 3 hours. Another set of hands could help but was not absolutely necessary. All of the individual pieces were labeled and all the screw holes lined up. I read some reviews about them having a hard time and having to re drill holes. I believe they didn’t follow instructions EXACTLY. If you use the right piece for the right step as instructed you will not have this issue. The shed looks great assembled and on the base. Door feels good, color and finish were nice, and I was satisfied with how it came out. Overall the metal is fairly thin which I don’t think will be an issue. I might go back and fill in the gaps where the panels meet the base, but it’s not necessary. I will be building some shelves so I can organize it better. I paid $23 for the base and $155 for the shed and I would buy it again. I threw in some stuff just for the video I.e. 21” push mower, Weber kettle bbq, shop vac and more tools to see if they’ll fit as is. 4.5/5 ... show more

  • Terrible directions
Size: 5FT*3FT Color: Brown
The directions are so hard to decipher. The illustrations make it look like a piece should go one way but it goes the opposite. The building itself, now that I have it all together, is not bad. Perfect for what I need and the cost is not bad at all.

  • Tons of screws and pieces
Size: 5FT*3FT Color: Brown
Instructions are very clear and laid out…Follow the instructions and pictures carefully because it doesn’t seem to look like it’s coming together until almost finished. Took 3 people 1.5 hours from start to finish. GET A BASE and attach the shed to it (we used 2 pallets and laid floor down after built) ... show more

  • Be prepared to work for this build up
Size: 5FT*3FT Color: Brown
This is a very budget minded shed with some decent features. It builds up to a decent shed. Just be prepared to work for it. The instructions say 2 to 4 hours, but I’d estimate 4 hours or more. Don’t use a drill driver as it can strip the holes. The holes are not all perfectly lined up for parts to join together. Holes are certainly small for the screws to ensure a snug fit. I used a drill driver on level 1 and it still ended up causing some screw holes to begin stripping. I had to use a hand screw driver going forward. The washers are plastic and are attached together in 3 sheets of 50. You have to separate the washers. This is a pain and some to keep costs low. However I’d be happy to pay an extra $25 if I didn’t have to separate them. It’s tedious work. I had to redrill one of the holes on the base due to a misalignment on the product. Wasn’t a big deal, but it was annoying. All of the metal sheets are covered in a plastic sheeting that should be removed. It’s there for protection, but definitely a tedious job to remove it. I noticed several small dents in mine as I was building it. These appeared to be from shipping. It’s a very heavy box and I can see how damage can occur using a forklift to move it around. Make sure you find a suitable place to build and place it, as there is no floor. I put mine on my concrete patio. The recommend to ensure it is secured to its foundation, whatever that is. In my case it’s well protected where it is. I may end up securing the roof to a brick pillar. Overall, it’s a decent shed for the price. It fits well in small spaces and operates smoothly. The door operates nice and smooth. I plan on placing some shelves in mine to store furniture pillows and my pool sweep, along with some additional pool supplies. ... show more
