I bought this to keep my generator out of the weather and to provide ventilation when it's running. It was easy to put together. 2 of us spent about 8 hours assembling it. Hint : don't tighten the screws up until every thing is together. Things don't fit together if the screws are too tight. Tighten them after wards. After it was assembled it was light enough that we could pick it up and move it to the location where we actually wanted it. Then anchored it down. The hydrolic shock that helps lift the roof/lid is too strong. It extends but doesn't collapse when you close the lid. We didn't attach them instead we attach them when we need to open it and then they hold the lid up. This keeps my generator dry and there's enough room inside to add shelves for starting fluid and oil and gas cans. I insulated the sides with some foam otherwise the generator sounds twice as loud when it runs. ... show more

    • ok+ Shed. No broken packages. Difficult to assemble, few missing/misaligned holes
This shed is ok+. The instructions are clear, but the installation itself is very complex. Putting the cover together is the most difficult thing. This is not Ikea level of ease to assemble and it will take 2-3hours even if you are mechanically inclined. Everything feels super flimsy separately, but once assembled it feels relatively sturdy. Packing: Packing was very professional, and in perfect shape. No broken parts from shipping. So I guess the seller addressed the reviews. Issues: One of the thick metal braces was missing one of the holes, and the lock doesn't really align. So def be prepared to drill some holes modify some things. Considering that there are like 1000 screws this is like <1% of the holes missing. We bought it to hide two bikes in our garage in our condo (in case someone leaves the garage door open). The door of the shed is BARELY wide enough to let an adult bike go in. Once inside, two adult bikes fit ok in a diagonal. ... show more

    • Nice little shed to keep critters out of my trash
This is a nice little shed, but do Not get in a hurry to get it built. It takes a minute and I would highly suggest having a second set of hands putting it together.

    • looks good but miserable assembly experience
This is by far one of the worst items to assemble. At the minimum you need 2 people, who are good with decoding instructions and takes at least 5 hours to assemble. The instructions are ok in the first few pages and get worse as you progress and somewhere around page 24 (Yes! there are over 34 steps), even the instructor gave up to write the instructions. I think they thought if you managed to get this far, then you can figure out the rest! Putting together the lid (which is the last part), almost has no instructions and over 10 pieces. The package arrives with 2 sets of gloves, since the pieces are extremely sharp, however, the screws (which probably is over 160 of them) are so tiny that you will not be able to handle them with gloves, which means many small cuts while assembling this piece. The finished product (if you are lucky enough to align all tiny holes and screws together and get there) looks good, too big for 2 trash cans but there was no way we would unassembled and send back so we will use to for another purpose. ... show more

    • Horrible- DO NOT BUY THIS
If I could choose ZERO stars, I would. Not easy to assemble. Pre-drilled holes did not match. There is no floor and large gaps between the doors and walls, which isn’t helpful for keeping anything free from water or dirt. The walls are flimsy and easily bend. The company says that the return is pre-paid and will deduct the shipping cost from your return but with the weight, that’s probably all of what you paid plus a bit more because this is 88lbs. of flimsy metal. And to add more insult to this, you’ve gotta mail it off yourself. DO NOT BUY THIS. ... show more

Great product. I was skeptical when I read reviews that it takes 2 people and 4 hours to out together. It was so true!! It is a 2 person job and took my wife and I 4 hours. The roof is most complicated. Numerous steps in one picture. Lol

    • Takes a long time to build.
The protective plastic on the face of the panels is so thin it's nearly impossible to remove in one piece. The plastic film will tear often during removal. That increases build time considerably, adding hours. The base, sides and front doors are relatively easy to put together. The top lid is very difficult to assemble due to trying to align all the flexible panels within the rails. The gas shocks do a very good job. The back edge of the top lid, where the hinges attach is too thin. The metal flexes considerably when open. Build time: If you remove the plastic film and use a drill/driver to screw it together it will take about 12 hours. ... show more

    • Difficult assembly and poor instructions

I haven't finished the assembly; clearly needs two people to do this. The instructions are poorly done; the steps should be numbered, the picture should make clear whether you are looking at the interior or exterior, the assembly of the parts should be made clear (which piece fits on top of the other--especially the roof), and the customer service is not particularly helpful--no phone number as far as I can tell. I I have attached one page which show the installation of part 15, but the installation would require the part to fit over the hinges which I don't believe is possible. In addition, some of the illustrations do not show the part number that is being assembled. This would have been quite easy for them to do. I realize that this is not a simple assembly which makes the requirement for clear instructions even more important. ... show more
