The mat is pretty good. It's nice and comfortable to stand on, whether with my barefeet or socks. Also on feet or socks, I don't slip nor does the mat when your standing on it. My complaint about it is the lack of textures or groves to feel for in the back 6 slots. Only the front 3 have them. During play, I end up being at the back three when I feel like I'm in the center. Although I did fix this by making the front as my back, so when I actually started to step backwards, I would feel it and then move back forwards. THEN I ended up finding myself on the front end. It just lacks the feelers on the other half of the mat. Yes there is a middle one but it's often hard to find. The folds are just to uniformed to be useful. However, I do like how I can fold it up easily. Faster and easier than the other VR mats out there.

It's a great mat that does the job intended for knowing the middle of your play space. For extended period of time with games involving a lot of turning around on the spot, it can sometimes move about of you're on carpet, but this has never caused me an issue in my play space yet even gaming like 3 hours at once non stop. If it is on hardwood floor or the like I imagine the rubber grips would work fantastic on those. My only complaint (small but none the less point to note), is that the markings for you to know where front is are a little hard to tell with your feet. I almost never use them to figure out where I am in real space. It is the circle mat itself I needed so for the purpose it's great, but if youre getting it because of the markings, find another that has more elevated bumps or something.

I purchased two of these, one for each grandchild. They are a big hit! They were using a little piece of slippery carpet. These do not slip, perfect size and can be folded and brought to Grandma's house. If you have VR players, they definitely need a mat! This one gets a 10 out of 10.

I’m very confused by all of the positive reviews saying this mat is comfortable to stand on for hours. Maybe it’s because they have it on a carpeted floor? I bought this because I’ve been playing VR on a hard tile floor and it’s been murder on my feet, I can usually only stand for half an hour before my feet start to hurt. I was hoping this would solve that issue but it really isn’t that much better than standing directly on the tile floor. It’s quite firm and not very thick. I do appreciate that it at least keeps me from wandering around the room and whacking my hands on things I shouldn’t, but it adds maybe an extra 10 minutes of stand time at most. I tried it with very cushy slippers and bare feet and neither improved the experience. For the money I was really expecting this to be a lot more comfortable to stand on and for a much longer amount of time.

Got it for when we have the grandkids. Our living room isn't quite set up fr a ply area and this gives them boundary's. I like that it folds up. Also nicer on their feet than other things we've thrown down. Can't tell you if it's better or worse than others. It works, they like it, and it was needed.

The mat has worked well for its main purpose of keeping my son in place while playing his VR headset, HOWEVER, the mat is constantly sliding across the floor and he still has ended up smacking the shelf with his hands. The whole point of this thing is to stay in one place completely, it doesn't help if the mat is sliding across the carpet while in use.
