My one complaint is that we have to cinch the hip belt all the way for it to fit snugly on her hips. She is definitely on the thin side, but I don’t think it would work for anyone with smaller hips.

Super nice bag - I have purchased 4 different Deuter packs now, from daypacks to ski packs to this bag for my daughter which we purchased for her birthday, before a family ski trip to Argentina. It’s a little smaller size frame with a lot of adjustability so she was able to carry a full load of gear comfortably. She loved the colors and all the compartments

our 6 yr old grandson and 4 yr old granddaughter were so excited to go out for a day hike after they received the packs for Christmas presents. The quality is very good. Stitching is tight. The straps are easy to adjust. Plenty of compartments. The packs are sturdy and easy to adjust. We expect these packs to last well into their teens.

Excited to try this out! Great color and seems comfortable. My 8 year old daughter is so skinny and I was worried it wouldn’t cinch tightly enough so that the weight sat on her hips, but it does! My son has the fox 40 and it took some diy fabric to get that to fit him.
