recently installed these Detroit Axle premium brake rotors and pads on my 1986 Buick Regal, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This brake kit was a perfect fit for my 2002 Toyota Tacoma with over 285,000 miles on it. Everything fit as expected, and the installation went smoothly. The rotors appear to be well made, and it was nice that the kit included the ceramic brake pads, making it a convenient all-in-one replacement. After installing everything, the truck stops smoothly and confidently, which is a big improvement over the worn-out brakes I replaced. Overall, this is a quality brake kit that fit perfectly and performs well. I would give it 5/5 stars and would recommend it to anyone looking to refresh the front brakes on an older Tacoma. ... show more

The overall quality and value for money of the Detroit Axle front brake kit is good, however when I was replacing the ‘tins’ or pad slide clips on the 2nd caliper, it was missing the correct tin to fit it! As it turns out the packaging included an odd numbered set of tin’s, meaning I had one tin where the outside holding clip was on the inside (and would interfere with the rotor), so I had to bend and cut the tin to fit in the heat of the moment so I could get the car back on the road. Detroit Axle might want to review there QC (Quality Control) or include spare tins to avoid this from happening with other customers. Side note: this photo is NOT the tin I had to modify, but is to show how the correct spring clip is meant to fit on the outside of the caliper rail. ... show more
