This scope is great if you want a decent scope without breaking the bank. Articulation - this one has the thumb toggle for 2-way articulation and it works pretty well. They have other models with 4-way but the cable for this one is rigid enough that it holds its form but flexible enough to turn it if you wanted to look to the side. The extra articulation isn't necessary. Video/Picture - Photos are .JPG, Videos are .AVI, Quality is pretty good, don't expect 4k images but the description is accurate and you can see what you need to. Pictures and Videos are saved to a Micro SD card and all have a Time/Date stamp. I ordered a small Card reader that plugs into the bottom of my phone to be able to send the captures to customers or to save them for CYA purposes. I think they have higher tier models with bluetooth but again for the price point this set-up is fine. I like the convenience of not having to connect my phone. Overall - I have used this only 4 times so far but it feels pretty solid, and durable. If you are looking for a easy scope you can just grab and start looking this is great. No need to connect your phone or open a separate app, The battery life is plenty for automotive work. I have yet to get below full charge on the battery display. Keep the box it comes in to store it, it is a little too tall to fit in the standard shallow toolbox drawers.

The media could not be loaded. The Anykit Two-Way Articulating Borescope is a well-built, IP-rated, waterproof tool that effectively sees into small spaces. The design feels intuitive, and the thumb slider for articulation is easy to control. The probe moves smoothly and provides ample visibility, which is excellent for checking engines, pipes, or wall cavities. I have a couple of complaints about this scope. Foremost, it doesn’t have a very long snake cable. Another scope I have is over 10 feet long, but this one is only about 10 feet. Secondly, the end of the scope is also relatively large in diameter, so if you are looking into a wall where you have to drill a hole, you have to drill a much larger hole to get the end of the scope in. Also, it comes in a foam-lined container that works fine for storage, though I would’ve preferred a proper case or wrap to keep the cable and screen protected during transport. The lack of that is probably the biggest miss here, as there is no other place to store the manual or charger cable. The 4.3-inch IPS screen is bright and sharp, and the 1080p image quality is solid. The buttons along the bottom are OK once you get used to them, though they could’ve been labeled better. The eight adjustable LEDs give reasonable light control, especially in darker areas. The temperature reading feature, however, showed a much higher temperature than the room I was in. The ambient temperature in the room I was in was about 69 degrees, and the scope read around 100 degrees, so it’s a feature that you can’t really rely on. The zoom options (1.0x, 1.3x, and 1.5x) and 180° image flip are useful for orientation, and the semi-rigid cable holds its shape well without being too stiff. It also includes an overheat alarm, which makes sense if you’re using it in hot areas for long periods. Setup is easy. It’s completely standalone, so you don’t need to connect it to a phone or install any apps. It charges via USB-C, and the battery provides roughly four hours of use, which is decent for most tasks. Build quality feels solid overall. It comes with an 8GB memory card and a one-year warranty. Aside from a few minor issues, it’s a reliable and well-made inspection camera that’s easy to use and delivers good image quality. However, for the price, it should have come with a case.

I was shocked by how high quality the video display and camera quality was. The screen was large enough to clearly see what was going on in my pipes. The camera head has an impressive flexibility range, allowing me to maneuver around tight bends. I was also impressed that it came with a micro SD card so you can record and transfer videos to your computer, which I could see being useful if you were wanting to document an inspection, however since I am using this for my own home and for more casual DIY repairs, I find the screen is sufficient. The set up was extremely easy, you just power it on and it was ready to go. You can recharge it with an included USB-C charger, but it has a long battery life. The camera itself has multiple light settings so you can view high quality images even in the darkest area. I cannot speak to the utility of this for someone who uses these in a professional capacity, but as a homeowner needing this tool for casual use, I am highly impressed at the quality for the value and it is a great tool to have on hand.

I know this is for vehicles but honestly you can use it on anything that you need to look into...like pipe we had a clog couldn't see it so we used this got down in there found our clog and was able to take care of the issues....this was awesome the picture is clear this is well made easy to use. I was in a pipe the wasn't straight and this scope moved with the pipe no problems at all. This made things so much easier and a huge cost savings not having to call a plumber on something we could take care of ourselves

Scope seems to work good. The articulation works pretty good if you have enough room. It was small enough to go through the injector holes in a Ford 6.7. What I don't like is the pictures look ok on the screen but are useless on the computer because they are low quality. If I buy another on it will use a cell phone for better pictures.

I love this better than the previous Anykit camera I got. This Borescope blows the other camera out of the water in more ways than one. Better capability to rotate corners and navigate. Battery life seems to be decent and gives you sufficient enough cable length to see most obstructions with 1-2 feet of opening. Anything further than that and you would probably want a plumber's service. Overall great value for a quality product and with great recording capabilities. Which allows you to save for sharing later or reviewing yourself. Look forward to purchasing more Anykit products as they seem well built and very useful.
