I bought a set of these for my Tahoe three years ago so when it came time to put brakes on my truck, I bought the same ones. NOW for the reason, I would highly recommend these, and will purchase them again. My truck has 380,000 miles on it with the original rear brake calipers and I did not replace the calipers when I replace the brakes and rotors knowing that I probably really should, I needed to try to save a little money at the moment. Left the next morning to go to a job site approximately 70 miles away the closer I got the more sluggish the trap seem to run when I got to the location I could smell the brakes cooking and feel the heat coming from the rear wheels. When I left the job site around 1130 that night the first stop I made the rear calipers pretty much locked completely down so if I would let off the gas, the truck would stop immediately continue driving slowly back home. Stopping every 5 to 6 miles for a few minutes to let them cool down some purchased new calipers and removed the old ones figuring I was at minimum going to have to have the rotors turned they looked fine had minimal wear and the brake pads still looked excellent no cracking or distortion installed new calipers and I’ve drove it approximately 12,000 miles since then and they still stop great, no jerking or shaking. They drilled and slotted rotors, amazingly displaced the heat of all that abuse. ... show more

I received this kit earlier than expected. It came with ceramic brakes and slotted rotors. I got the kit for all four wheels, so it also came with brake fluid and brake cleaner to clean the grease off of the new parts.     • 99 Chevy 1500 Silverado. Good product, but make sure to check for right or left side rotor.
Product was everything I expected. Parts fit great. Have to look on the side edge of rotor for an "R" or "L" to put correct rotor on left or right side. There are no instructions telling you this. After installation take your time doing a "Break in for seating pads to rotors".

This kit came with all of the necessary parts to replace pads and rotors on the rear axle. Everything was really well done and I had no issues with fit or finish. I used my own grease so I can't comment on that, but the rest of it was one of the better brake job experiences I've ever had.
