    • Finally got it right
It took a while and several conversations but we got the brakes and got them all right. The first order was damaged during shipment and sent back before we ever saw it. Took a while and a call to the company and to Amazon to get the refund processed. So I ordered again. That one arrived quickly but had the wrong front rotors in the “kit”. Called the company like the paperwork in the box said. They said they’d send someone to get it and send a new set of rotors. Truck came and got them. Waited. Called company and they said they didn’t send anyone. Ugh! After posting complaints a very good company rep called me and began sorting things out. After a couple weeks we actually got what we wanted and were able to replace my brakes. Not the best experience but they did work it out. First-line support was not helpful though. ... show more

Shipped in 2 packages, which wasn't apparent through Amazon, but the first package was actually a day early than the Amazon delivery date. Good quality products. I didn't realize, until I had everything apart, that the rear rotor is also a drum so there's also break shoes but there was plenty of pad left on the shoes yet one of the caliper pads was metal on metal so the shoes seem to wear much slower. ... show more

This brake kit came faster than expected and was packaged extremely well. The kit even came with lube for installation. I did have to purchase some copper anti-seize for the rotor installation separately but that wasn’t a big deal. Overall I am 100% satisfied with the quality of the pads, clips, and rotors! This kit came in at a fraction of the cost of similar (name brand) kits. I will absolutely buy from Detroit Axle again when the time comes. ... show more

I put these on my wife’s GMC Acadia a couple weeks ago. Kit came packaged well with all required parts and even some grease. As a mechanical engineer that deals with castings a lot I can say that these look first rate! After two weeks my wife is very happy with how they feel and work.
