This is a quality product. I put two new rotors on the front and two new ones in the back along with new brakes pads that came with this package deal for a 2008 Chevy Impala LS, 3.5 L V6 flex fuel vehicle, and they fit perfectly, and with no issues. I have nothing bad to say about this product. Although, I bought these in hopes my brakes would stop squealing at stupid high pitch. I’ve replaced them since and still am getting a slightly lower pitch squeal. I’ve replaced everything besides the wheel hubs and I can’t seem to find the cause. I ordered this kit for my 2009 Impala and the price was great and it arrived in a reasonable time, no issues with fitment except front caliper clips so I used my old ones. One area in the clips just didn't fit. other than that no problems. I've sense ordered other parts from Detroit Axle and I find their parts work very well and often beat the best prices a repair shop can get parts for on my vehicles, one was shocked at the prices when I told them when I took my car in for tires and an alignment.     • Brake pad fell off??
Bought front and rear for 07 Impala and had a shop install them in august. Yesterday I heard a thump, had to pump the brakes a few times to get them to respond, and then heard terrible grinding noise from the rear passenger tire. The brake pad had separated from the backing plate and fallen off, so I then had the plate tearing up the rotor. Never heard of such a thing. Took it in and the brake place said that can happen with the cheap pads. So $350 later I had all new rear brakes and rotors. Now I'm paranoid that it'll happen in the front and lead to a really dangerous situation. Probably go ahead and have those changed out soon. I've gotten a couple Detroit axle products in the past and never had an issue, so this could possibly be a fluke. But man, it's a dangerous one. ... show more
