This brake kit was a great value for my 10 Tundra. I had it installed professionally and the shop was concerned that the hat on the rear rotors was very slightly too shallow and they reported some rubbing noise once the lut nuts were torqued down. I have not heard the noise yet.

Update: less than 2 months and I’m already seeing major surface rust. Unreal. Very unhappy as of now. If I leave these in, that rust will spread like cancer through out my wheel assembly. Very unhappy and very cheap product. Seller should contact me ASAP. These are a great replacement for my 2010 tundra crew max. Painless install. Follow the simple instructions as with everything and you will get great results, at least that was my experience. ... show more

    • Not exactly what I expected.
Very Nicely packaged and prompt delivery. This does NOT come with parking brake shoe pads. And also does not come with the spring clip kit for the parking brake pads either. The brake clips that came with the brakes were harder to put on than the originals. I recommend going with Carlson Quality brake parts. I ended up using their clips for my Toyota Sequoia. This set also didn't come with replacement rubber bushings or boots. Again go with Carlson. The adjusting holes for the parking brakes didn't align at all with the Star adjuster. So to adjust the parking brake I am going to have to figure something else out. The rear rotors also didn't come with a rubber cap for the adjusting hole. I am going to use the rotors, however because this set wasn't good quality through out, I won't be using Detroit Axle again. I also cannot recommend them either. ... show more
