Detroit Axel brake kit for 2005 Honda Civic. This is the second order in row to show up with damaged packaging. I had to send the last one back because the parts had a defect (not Detroit Axil). This time, after looking the parts over, they appear to be good quality and in good shape. I'm going to install them and hope that I don't find any damage or defects later. I'll be updating this review about the performance after I install the parts and test drive the car. Hopefully, I can add another star. Update: I have installed the new brake kit and have been driving for a few days. I must say, in spite of the damaged packaging, the parts were all in good condition. The install was straight forward and I am very pleased with quality and performance. Plus, the slotted and drilled rotors look real cool behind my alloy rims. I recommend this product and I'm adding that fifth star. ... show more

Pretty sure this is the same brand that was on the car when I bought it. Took 10 min to install and had a little vibration after first installed but smoothed out after 10 miles. No noise, no vibration, seem to be wearing well after a week.

    • Excellent quality and fit
I helped my nephew put a set of these on his Ford Exploder and I was so impressed that I ordered a set for my wife's Honda Civic. As with the Ford the rotors and pads were of outstanding quality and fit perfectly. They perform well. I highly recommend this product and Detroit Axle too.
