I am not a car mechanic, but I do most of my own repair work. I ordered this set for my 2008 Ford Focus, and I am incredibly pleased with it. Everything appears to be top notch quality and was easy to install. Just look up a couple "how to" videos on YouTube for the proper areas to clean and grease (BRAKE grease ONLY) when you install them and go for it. On my Focus there are a total of four bolts on each side to remove and reinstall the caliper and caliper anchor (for the new pads). It took a couple of hours because I cleaned everything I could while the wheels and rotors were off. I wish all the projects I've done on this car were that simple. P.S. My Focus is highly modified, and I will try to save money but never skimp on quality. (I love that picture of it, so polished it almost disappears in the reflections) ... show more

    • Worst pads to install ever
I've installed plenty of pads and rotors over the years and the manufacturing tolerances on these pads are horrible. Slotted rotors seem solid and weren't warped but I'll look elsewhere to buy pads in the future.
