The first time I bought anything from Detroit axle, it was for a set of rear wheel bearings for my Toyota Yaris right about the time the COVID skamdemic was kicking into high gear. I had never heard of them before, but I just went to Amazon, put in the manufacturer's part number, and received a list of several choices, and I saw a price that was a little too hard to believe. Wheel bearing and speed sensor for about a hundred bucks each. I'm all about saving money when I can, especially on automotive parts, so I decided to find out where they were and maybe give them a call and noticed they were in the Detroit area right in my backyard so I called them. They assured me that what they were selling was the real deal . So rather than placing the order on Amazon, I just went to their 8 mile location and picked them up. The old bearings were a grandmother bear to get out, but that wasn't their problem. That was mine. The new bearings went in just like new OEM and no problem. I just took the car off the road with 308,000 miles on it, but it still has Detroit axle rear wheel bearings. Anyhow, I decided to buy their brakes over the years and have never been disappointed. The cheapest price is always not the best product, but their products stand up. I have used their front disc brake kit, including pads and rotors twice on this car in the past 150k plus miles or more as well as others in the family. The pads are very durable and the rotors run true to the end. Currently, I am maintaining three Toyota's and one Honda with Detroit axle brake components. I can hardly wait to have some suspension or axle parts fail just to try them out. ... show more

I finally got the pads installed, but I had to do some slight grinding on the tabs that hold the pads in place in the caliper. The turned out steel tabs are just a couple of hairs too big to fit into the slots. No big deal as my grinder trimmed the tabs down slightly and then they slipped right in. Other than the tab issue, the pads are working great. I tried a few panic stops running 90 mph and they did what they are suppose to do with no fading or issues. Even with the tabs (top & bottom) being just a couple of hairs too big, I would still recommend these pads and the price is more than fair IMO compared to the local auto parts places around my location where all of them wanted over $80.00 for each set front and back. ... show more

Fit as they should and work well so far. Good quality for the price. Its nice that cleaner and fluid is included. I wish they came with actual brake lube packets instead of anti-sieze, but I guess that's just a personal preference.

Perfect fit. This kit came with more than I’ve seen other kids come with. I ordered these for my wife’s GLS 450 Mercedes and it was flawless. Changed all four sets in about 45 minutes.
