This is my second set of rotors and pads from Detroit axle. I put a set on my 2013 Chevy sonic about 5 months ago and a set on a 2011 Nissan sentra today. Everything went nice and smooth and the brakes are nice and smooth also. It may be all in my head but it seems to greatly reduce the stopping distance on both vehicles and eliminated the rotor vibrations I had with both of the cars. Both sets were drilled and slotted so hopefully they wont warp like the factory rotors did.

Rotors fit perfectly, on 2018 Explorer Platinum - 13.8”. Vehicle stops as it should. Haven’t noticed any brake fade. Clips functioned properly, to hold brake pads in place. No squealing, no rough stops, no pulsating feeling. Nice smooth stops.

On installing the backing plate on the pads came loose as the calipers were a tight fit. I removed the caliper again and bent the top tab to resecure the plate on the pad (one pad not all) and was able to complete installation. Never that happen before, pads otherwise looked and performed well. The rotors seemed to be great and worked well initially. Long term is not done yet, but so far nice. Bling rotors, and the pads being ceramic should work well.

My second purchase from Detroit Axle. I first did a 4 wheel disc Ford Fusion with rotors, and pads. The cleaner bonus was awesome to have. Such a great package. Everything is packed well, and protected. Pads shrunk wrapped to a cardboard sheet. Rotors wrapped and packed. The quality of the rotors are exceptional! Fit was perfect! Came with all new pins, clips and springs. Comes with copper anti-seize for your bolts and pad backs. The quality is unmatched besides OEM, but who wants to pay those prices?!? I’m a Detroit Axle customer for life, and have and will continue to brag on you and direct people your way.

I can't believe it--this inexpensive kit is actually great! It fit perfectly on my 2012 Tundra, and the brakes are perfect. It's been a few months since installation so I don't know the eventual total life of the kit, but in all this time there's been no different in braking performance between this and any of the previous retail-market brake replacements I've had (at much higher costs!)
