The break pads and rotors are good. They even came with break fluid and cleaner. The only issue was I ordered them and they showed as in stock but when the packaged arrived the rotors where not there. I contacted the seller and they said the rotors were out of stock but would be in stock shortly. They did refund me some money for the inconvenience but it was still frustrating because I missed my time frame to install before a trip. Customer service and quality product mean I still think 5 stars is deserved.

I bought this set and installed onto the front of a 2014 Town & Country. No problems. It was nice that the pads came with a little package of grease, however I already had purchased that as a big tub separately for a previous job, so I didn't use the included package. Having the brake fluid and can of brake cleaner was the only way to get this as a set, but I also did not use either one, as I had product already available. I think without these additional items, anybody would be OK to not have them. The rotors are very nice, and fixed my "warped" front rotor terrible shaking while braking. Not much more to say. They function well together. If I think about it, I will try to come back and give an update. I would buy this Detroit Axle product again.

I’m a DIY’er and have changed MANY disc and drum brakes. So, when my wife’s van started grumbling when braking I stopped at two local national auto parts stores looking for pads and rotors. Both stores told me “no problem, we can order those”, but their warehouse said out of stock with NO delivery date. I immediately searched Amazon and found this package deal from Detroit Axle. I had ordered a front wheel bearing, about a year ago, from Detroit Axle and was pleased with that bearing. The price of this brake kit was half as much as the national parts stores. Kit included everything I needed: pads, rotors, grease, hardware, brake fluid and brake cleaner. Kit was well packed with no issues with UPS delivery. I took my time and brake job turned out GREAT! I broke in pads with the 30/30/30 break in procedure. Braking is quiet as a church mouse and smooth as silk. You will not be disappointed. Update: 9/27/2021 I know there have been some negative reviews, but I would guess that those folks did not "break-in" the ceramic pads. I used the 30/30/30 rule (30 MPH, easy complete stop, wait 30 seconds and repeat 29 more times), and I was careful to NOT use the brakes hard for 1 week. Two weeks later, brakes are stopping on a dime and quiet as a church mouse.

Wasted 5 months of troubleshooting these brake pads. Rotors turned out great. Detroit axle customer service was horrible and made me pay for the replacement which the pads still squeaked no matter what paste or lubrication I used on my 2015 Chrysler T&C. I performed the “brake in process” to the T. Don’t buy from Detroit Axle. I ended up putting Power Stop Break pads on with these slotted rotors. And these worked like a charm! No squeak, and braked fantastic! The Detroit axle brake pads have some quality issues in the material of the pads that create noises at slow speeds.

I have about 1000 miles on these and like them so far. Likes: - Good price point - Drilled and slotted for better cooling - Kit includes brake fluid and cleaner - Good quality (so far..) - Hub seems plated to prevent rust - Quiet if you use anti squeak compound on the pads - Noise was the biggest complaint on reviews I saw. They don’t squeak when you use the compound on the back of the pads. Dislikes and comments: - No directions or information (rotors are directional, so make sure you put them on the correct side) They have letters on them if you aren’t sure…. - Pads do not work with OEM shims. - Recommend you use anti squeak compound-(like a rubbery glue… )on these and they should be quiet. (Not included in the kit) - Recommend 30 or so low speed gentle stops to break in the pads. I drove local below 35 in residential area with a lot of stop signs to break them in. They seem a bit grabby at first compared to OEM, but ok now.
