So far I've been impressed with the rotors and pads that I bought from Detroit Axle. Shipping was faster than promised, parts were in the boxes and bags they were shipped in. The performance of these parts are better than I remember the OEM brakes to have been. Doesn't seem to be excessive dust on the rims and the van stops on a dime.     • LOUD BRAKES...unfortunate customer service!!
What an unfortunate experience! We installed new brakes and rotors from Detroit Axle. They were very squeaky. They told us to keep them on for 2 weeks in the squeal would go away. After 2 weeks the squeak had not diminished and we were sent a replacement set. These were also very squeaky and loud. After calling for the second time they told us to keep them on for 1 to 2 weeks and the squeal would go away again. After 10 days and the squeal not going away we called for a return and reimbursement. After talking to a supervisor we were told that they could not reimburse "used parts" and were therefore only eligible for a 50% reimbursement or they could send me a new product, but I would have to pay shipping. We only did what they told us to do in using them for 2 weeks. I find the ethics of this company atrocious and will not recommend them to anybody. I find it difficult to even give them 1 star. ... show more
