Hello all, my application was a 2009 ford Focus. These drums and shoes are very high quality with a perfect fit. My feeling is they will give a good service life. I also bought a hardware kit which I recommend. I am a basic level shade tree mechanic. I watched several youtube videos on the replacement procedure. All went well and the drums and shoes were replaced. My Focus had sat for a while as it is a secondary vehicle. Turning the key to start it provided no joy, the battery was dead. Knowing that I had replaced the battery about a year ago, I determined that it was still under warranty. To my surprise a new battery was provided at no cost. With a new battery installed the Focus roared to life, well maybe purred to life. Now for a test drive. All went well for about 50 feet. I had a traction control light, a ABS light and a brake light screaming at me on the dash. I was thinking the worst - that rodents had potentially compromised the wiring during the vehicle's down time. A quick query online provided what the problem could be. The ABS system was basically blind because I had not transferred the reluctor rings from the old drums to the new ones. Upon taking it all apart again and transferring the reluctor rings, all is perfect. Very good drums and shoes, bad mechanic.

I’m very satisfied with these brakes. Linings and rotors were very heavy and machined well. The pads leave some dust, as they are porcelain I’d expect better wear. I’ve had them on for a couple of months. I like they were packaged and sent so organized with all needed. including lube and brake cleaner.

I have used these slotted and drilled rotors on/in my 2011 Honda Ridgeline, and now in my 2022 xc90 Volvo. They worked fine in/on the Honda for the time I owned the vehicle. The one thing that REALLY frustrates me with this setup from THIS company; they don’t include ANY rotor screws or disc brake screws! Why?! The 1st time I ignored it. And, I needed it😡. Then I noticed(this time) it isn’t even included. Again, why?! I totaled the Honda. So, we’ll see how these hold up🤷🏾♂️.
