I was in need of a complete brake kit and upgrading from standard equipment to plated ventilated and slotted discs was a no-brainer here in the rust belt. Plus, coming out of Detroit meant that delivery would be quick (in my case I ordered them on Sunday night and they got here on Tuesday). Install was easy and I was impressed with the overall heft of the pieces. This is not some flimsy, barely get you by stuff. I went for a test drive later and was amazed at how poor my brakes apparently been compared to the new stuff. All things considered, the price is a bargain. Job well done!

Rotors were solid and the pads were also well built, but the wear clips absolute garbage I ended up using the old ones. So far no squeaks and the stops really well, overall I am happy with the purchase.

I ordered the Detroit Axle pads and rotors for my wife's 2022 Ford Explorer XLT a couple of months before actually performing the maintenance. Once I removed the old rear pads, I realized the hardware clips provided by Detroit Axle did not fit. They were shaped similarly to the old clips, but they were too big. The same was true of the new clips for the front pads. I recommend exercising caution with your old clips to prevent damaging them when removing the old pads because you may need to reuse them like I did. Aside from that, the brake pads and rotors have been fine so far.
