The front break pins and locking springs don’t fit a 2018 Toyota 4 runner. Otherwise everything worked and went in fairly simple.

It’s tough to rate something that is supposed to last 50k miles on the first 100 miles but the install went fairly well. The caliper pins were a problem. They are the wrong size and don’t fit the calipers. If you old one seize up like mine did, you’ll need new ones. (See pic) That pic is after I ground off the end of get it out., so original was even longer. Get these ahead of time before you get knee deep in this job. ... show more

    • Multiple modifications had to be made, and old brake parts needed to be reused.
Original - 3 stars - I bought these for a 21 Lexus GX460. For the most part, everything was fine. However, the pin for the calipers was too short, so had to reuse the old one. Also, the one set of clips for the pad didn't fit, so again, had to use the old one. If those items were the proper size, then I would give 5 stars. Update 1/2/25 - Reduced to 2 stars - So, I learned some additional information from the mechanic that used the Brake Kit to install on my wife's Lexus. He said several parts in the kit were wrong, more than the 2 that the first mechanic told me about, and he had to reuse and/or modify multiple components of the original brake pads. He said the rotors were OK, but that the brakes won't last for more than a few months. My wife was not happy that the parts had to be modified or reused from the old brakes and was concerned that the new brakes would fail, but after trying them, they seem to be working OK for now. Time will tell about how long they will last. I hope I don't need to pay for material and labor to install a new set in 6 months. I will revisit this review if/when these need replaced again. ... show more

I read all other reviews which warned me for the long pin for the brake pad which reviews posted in 2022. I purchased on Sep. 2023, and those are still much shorter than original one. Also found out the one straight springs (holding two long pins) which comes with these pads were short as well (about 0.75"). Other than that, Rotor and Pads fits fine and worked good (only for the test drive). It is worth it, well built and packaged. ... show more

According to the description these brakes fit my 2016 4 runner they don’t fit certain sub models but you find out after you receive them NO RETURN items had to pay 40.00 to ship them back be careful when you order the description is faulty
