Detroit Axle's products are high quality. I've bought several Detroit Axle brake kits (rotors and pads) for my vehicles over the years and some shock/spring kits. Never had an issue. NOTE: The only issue I had with the front rotors on my 2004 4Runner is that the Amazon fitment guide that tells you whether or not the parts fit your vehicle gave me bad info. It thinks the 338mm front rotors fit my vehicle but I actually need the 319mm rotors. Amazon seems to automatically default to the larger rotors when, in reality, most 4Runners of my vintage had the smaller ones. The product description will have you believe that the rotor size it determined by your wheel size ( it says that if you have 17" wheels, then you will need the larger 338mm rotors) - THIS IS FALSE. Wheel size does not determine rotor size. Bottom line is that 4Runner Sport models and some 4Runner Limited models have the larger rotors. Read some of the other reviews on here - they'll tell you the 100% fool proof way to get it right using the manufacturer code stamped on your factory brake calipers. You could also just call your dealer and they can look it up for you. I fell into this trap, but the folks at Detroit Axle are making it right. They sent me a shipping label for the too-big rotors and are sending me the correct ones. Standing behind their stuff with great customer service.

This brake kit has great quality and is very aesthetically pleasing at a great value. I see the problem most are having is fitment. To make it easier on anyone trying to purchase this kit, here is a quick "brakedown". You must have the "Sport" model to get the 338mm kit. If you don't know what model your 4runner is, just call a Toyota dealer give them the vin # and they will tell you. Do not depend on the hood of your 4runner, just in case the previous owner installed/Uninstalled a "sport" hood. Another way; look at the casting code on your calipers. 13WH = 13.3"/338mm roter diameter 13WL = 12.6"/319mm roter diameter 13WG = 12.6"/319mm roter diameter There is no reason to give this product 1 star just because it didn't fit. i see it brakes for toyota 4runner 2005. its not fit. front is big. and they no return or refund. ill never buy from here again.

Great kit! Installed on my Gx470 and it not only vastly improved the look being slotted rotors and all but increased the braking abilities tremendously! I will buy this kit again!

Good price. Great brakes. Quiet and better stopping power. However if you have an sr5 model like I did. The fronts will not fit. You must have a sport model or upgrade your front calipers to the sport model. Other wise, they are perfect.

I really like the boxing of the equipment and appear to be quality parts thus far. However, if you do purchase these rotors for 07 4Runner they are sized for 17” wheels so if your stock wheels are 16” your calipers WILL NOT bolt up unless you replace/upgrade calipers that fit 17” wheels which cost me more than rotors and brakes... but I’ll take the blame for not specifically checking measurements of my original rotors and comparing with measurements listed
