  • Great price for a complete brake kit
Installed these brakes on a 2015 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0L. The brake kit was complete with rotors, pads, hardware, grease, brake cleaner (not the best but effective), and DOT 3 brake fluid (more on that later). There are no instructions, in the box or on the website. There is a green substance on the pads. I spoke with their technician, on a Saturday, and was informed the substance should be scraped off before installation and there is no specific break-in procedure outside of gentle braking for the first few hundred miles. The green stuff is there for them to determine if the pads were installed in the event of a return. All parts fit perfectly. The front rotors have a hole drilled outside the pad surface (pictured). You'll need to swing by your auto parts store and pick up a brake caliper tool kit and a torque wrench if you don't have one. The back brake caliper piston screws in while the front brake piston caliper can be pressed in. A few specifications: Rear caliper bracket bolts: 13mm torque to 46 lb-ft Caliper bolts: 7mm Allen torque to 21 lb-ft Wheel lug nuts: 100 lb-ft Front caliper bracket bolts: 18mm torque to 129 lb-ft (yeah, they're tight) Front caliper bolts are the same as the rear Tighten your lug nuts in a star pattern. Make sure to keep an eye on the brake fluid level as it will rise when the caliper pistons are pressed back in. Use can use a vacuum pump, turkey baster, or paper towels to lower the fluid level. So for my 2015, the factory manual directs you to use DOT 4 brake fluid. DOT 4 has a higher boiling point than DOT 3. They can be mixed but you should use what's recommended by the factory. So far, the braking is quite and linear. I'm still breaking them in but on initial impressions, they perform at least as good as the factory brakes. I'll try to update my post with their dustiness after I've gotten some miles on them. Update: After break-in pads do appear to cover all holes on the front rotor. Dust levels do appear to be more than the factory pads. ... show more

  • 1 year in. No issues.
Brakes are wearing well and working great after 1 year.

  • Works great
Fit perfectly on my 2013 Ford Escape SEL. You can really tell that the slotted and drilled rotors stopping power is much better than the standard OEM ones. So far I have put over 500 miles on them with no issues or squeaking. Only time will tell if they hold up but so far so good!

  • Feels really good

  • No brake brackets included
The quality was ok, it's just the fact that they didn't include any brackets for the brakes. We had to use the old ones but they were in pretty bad shape. It just made the job a lot more difficult.

  • Exact fit.
Could not be happier. Exact fit for my car. Parts went right on. Great value for the money. All four rotors, four sets of brake pads, brake cleaner and brake fluid. One stop shopping delivered to the door.

  • Front rotors warped and rear pads delaminated
Looked like a promising kit, however a month after it was installed in 2019 it started squeaking. 2021 started to experience warpage that only got worse. Finally replaced this set in 2024 only to find out my rear pads had experienced deamination, quite honestly a horrible kit from start to finish.
