I wasn't too confident about the quality considering the price and what comes with it. I installed them back in July, have driven over 5000 miles, and so far I haven't died in an accident so that's a huge plus. I have to say they're definitely worth checking out if you're in a financial pinch. One thing I would say is that at least my '04 New Beetle takes Dot 4 and not Dot 3, but getting that extra was not a big deal for me. ... show more

Well I thought I went through the description enough to buy them for my 2001 vw jetta vr6 had the numbers in the description but unfortunately the only things that worked were the rear and since it's a kit once opened you can't return I received the wrong fronts asked if I could get the right front brakes and got a link from the manufacturer for another 200 I could get just the fronts so very unsatisfied DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR VW JETTA IF YOU DO DONT OPEN ANY SORT OF PACKAGING INTELL YOU COMFIRM SHOES AND ROTORS MATCH THEY WONT REFUND/REPLACE ANYTHING IF ANYTHINGS OPEN will be going a completely different route when it comes to brakes from now on ... show more

I was bummed that after I got the car up and tires off I realized that my box didn’t have all the pads in it. Front and back rotors and one set of pads in the box. Instead of another set of pads there was a note that everything didn’t ship together. Lesson learned, make sure all parts are delivered before you start your project. ... show more
