Overview: DJI Mini 4K is an incredible way to capture your aerial world in 4K. Weighing less than 249 grams, no test is required in most countries regions. It's also stunningly easy to use, with a 31-min max flight time, a 10km (32,800 feet) max transmission range, incredible 4K footage, and so much more. Notes: 1. Standard aircraft weight (including the Intelligent Flight Battery, propellers, and a microSD card). The actual product weight may vary due to differences in batch materials and external factors. Training or examination is not required for flying this product in most countries and regions. Always check local laws and regulations before use. 2. FCC compliant and tested in an open outdoor environment without interference. 3. Flight time is measured in a controlled test environment. This is my very first drone, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. I originally wanted one of DJI’s more expensive models with obstacle avoidance, but since I was completely new to flying, I figured I’d probably make some beginner mistakes. Instead of spending around $1,000 on my first drone, I decided to start with the Mini 4K Fly More Combo, and I honestly think it was the perfect decision. What surprised me the most is how quickly I became comfortable flying it. I expected it to take days or even weeks to build confidence, but I was out flying within about 30 minutes of unboxing it. The setup was incredibly easy, and the DJI Fly app walks you through everything step by step. Since then, I’ve been flying all around my property, exploring well beyond my neighborhood, practicing at the maximum legal height, trying out QuickShots, panoramas, timed photos, and recording beautiful 4K video. Every time I fly it, I discover another feature that makes me smile. Like any beginner, I accidentally clipped a few tree branches while I was learning. Every time it happened, it was because I got distracted or flew too close to the branches, not because of the drone. It has even survived a couple of falls without any damage, which really impressed me and gave me even more confidence as I learned. I’ve been watching YouTube videos almost every day to learn new tricks, and I recently learned how to hand launch it and safely catch it by hand when I’m finished flying. There are so many cool features that I honestly can’t stop talking about this drone. The image quality is incredible. The photos are sharp, the 4K video looks amazing, and the 3-axis gimbal keeps everything smooth. I’ve already been showing my videos to my nephews, nieces, friends, and family, and everyone has been impressed by the video quality. Even the DJI Fly app makes it easy to create really cool videos that look professionally edited. I actually bought this drone for an upcoming trip to Hawaii, and after spending time practicing with it at home, I know it’s going to capture some amazing memories. If you’re looking for your first drone, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s affordable, incredibly easy to learn, packed with features, and an amazing value for the money. The funny thing is, I originally thought I’d eventually upgrade to one of DJI’s flagship drones. But after using this one, I’m honestly not so sure anymore. I love it that much. For the price, it’s incredibly hard to beat. I could almost buy two or three of these for the price of one flagship model, and for the kind of flying I do, this drone has completely exceeded my expectations. If I ever needed a backup for travel, I’d honestly buy another Mini 4K without hesitation. For anyone who’s been thinking about getting into drones but feels intimidated like I was, don’t overthink it. I've had the drone for 2 months and have had no issues. I like having three batteries. My first drone was a Parrot and was much bigger, heavier. This is much smaller, lighter, and easy to fly. Camera takes great pics and videos and the controls are nice. I bought it on prime day for under $300, not sure that I'd pay the full price of $450, I believe. But, it has everything you need for a first time drone owner. Maybe wait for a sale like I did and you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to take the recreational flyer TRUST with FAA to legally fly this drone. Easy to understand and pass. Have fun and be safe! ... show more

Most likely the best drone out there. This drone has a lot of features for a beginners drone. The price is very reasonable. Pros: The flights are smooth although I have not flown it on windy days. The camera is rock steady as if you had it mounted on a tripod. Return to home works flawlessly as long as you allow the drone to find home position before you fly off. The pictures are above parr and you have the option of shooting RAW. Battery life is as to be expected. Cons: The drones selling point is that it will connect right out of the box. Factory set. Well, not so in my case. Trying on my own with help from YouTube the remote would not connect to the drone. I spent 2 hours with DJI Technical help with no luck. They offered to repair it for free but I decided to send it back to Amazon. Upon receipt of the replacement I tried to connect once again and once again I had the same problem. Back to DJI technical help, only this time I got a guy that knew what he was doing. After some questions about things I previously tried, he told me to remove my SD card. Sounded silly but that did the trick. But, if I powered off the drone so I could reinstall the card, I would be back to the original problem. I had to leave the card out, fire up the drone, and then insert the card hot, which is not a good practice. It turns out that all I really had to do, was to format the card after it was in the drone. Now it all works as it should. I never would have figured that out on my on especially if it had not been for a guy on YouTube that stressed to reformat any SD card that had been installed previously in another drone as in my case. All the above information is to help anyone having this same issue. DJI could have offered up the SD card problem in their manual but failed to do so. Style: Mini 4K Fly More Combo (93-min)
This is my first modern drone. The last drone I owned was called a quadcopter, and it could supposedly do a backflip. I saw it on YouTube. I could barely get the thing to fly, let alone do a backflip. The DJI Mini 4K is awesome. I've been flying it for about three weeks now, and I'm having a blast. It's easy to set up, easy to fly, and very forgiving if you're just getting started. It's a pretty manual drone. There's no obstacle avoidance, waypoints, cruise control, or Follow Me, but that's okay. This is the drone to actually learn how to fly on instead of letting the drone do all the work. It's also a great way to learn aerial photography and videography. If you have enough room, you can even fly it inside. I practiced indoors quite a bit when I first got it, and it really helped me get comfortable with the controls before taking it outside. One of the best things about it is that it weighs less than 249 grams, so you can fly it recreationally without registering it with the FAA. I would still suggest taking the TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test). It's required by the FAA for recreational drone pilots; it's free, it's easy, and it teaches you the basic safety information you need to know. I'd also recommend downloading an app that shows airspace restrictions before you fly. It only takes a minute to check and can save you a lot of trouble. The only downside is that the Mini 4K is small and gray, so it can be easy to lose sight of on a bright day. I added a red wrap and a couple of strobe lights, and they made a big difference. One other thing to know: you'll need to use your cell phone with the RC-N1 controller. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max with one of the most protective OtterBox cases. I love OtterBox, but my case was just too big and barely fit in the controller. I switched to an OtterBox Symmetry Series case, and now my phone fits much better. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the DJI Mini 4K. If you're looking for your first drone, this is the one I'd recommend. Learn to fly this one first, then move up to something with all the extra features later. I think you'll appreciate them a lot more once you've learned the basics. ... show more

The Fly-More combo is definitely the way to buy a drone -- it comes with everything you need. Easy to get running (although you really *should* read the manual to understand how to get the most out of it). Tons of fun. Works great with my iPhone 14. And the bag corrals all the pieces (controller, batteries and charger, drone itself), which is handy. The one "missing" item is a memory card, although that's really only needed if you want to save 4K video (which you will probably want to, eventually). Great 4K Drone With a Very Useful Fly More Bundle. The DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo is an excellent drone for beginners and casual drone pilots. It’s lightweight, easy to fly, and delivers really impressive 4K video quality for such a compact drone. Setup is simple, and the controls are very intuitive, making it a great option even if you’ve never flown a drone before. The camera is definitely one of the highlights. The 4K footage looks sharp and clear, and the 3-axis gimbal does a great job keeping videos smooth and stable while flying. It’s perfect for capturing scenic landscapes, travel moments, or just experimenting with aerial photography. The Fly More Combo is absolutely worth it. The extra batteries are a huge benefit because they give you much more flight time before needing to recharge. The charging hub and carrying bag also make it much easier to keep everything organized and ready to travel. Another big plus is the portability. The drone is small and lightweight, so it’s easy to toss in a backpack and take just about anywhere. Despite its size, it flies very smoothly and handles light wind better than expected. The reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that it doesn’t include advanced obstacle avoidance like some higher-end drones. You have to be more careful when flying near trees or buildings. Overall, the DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo is a fantastic drone with great video quality, solid performance, and useful extras.
