Ok, this is a pretty serious review for me. I was first introduced to these by a GI specialist at Johns Hopkins, yup THE Johns Hopkins. 3 courses of mainline digestive antibiotics had not worked for my SIBO. So I started on these about 4 a day, spread out, to marginal effect. Another doctor recommended them as well but, given my particularly bad SIBO test results, said to increase the dosage. 6 a day (that's a lot) in two doses for several weeks actually cured my SIBO. It came back once or twice and the same prescription knocked it out again and it's been months now without issue. 1.5 years and many many expensive medications and it seems this one got it down. These are for real. Note that I also took Designs for Health HcL supplement as well and so that may have helped too. Very thankful I'm doing so well now.

Cleared up my years long journey of SIBO! I was out of options. I took this along with another herbal supplement for 6 weeks and it helped so much. My symptoms improved significantly after this. I was also on a low fodmap diet so I’m sure that helped. Would highly recommend if you’ve never tried this.

A nutritionist put me on this after me struggling with and failing to help my ‘bad gut’ for like 20 years. I took this and a few other - monolaurin avail, betacine, black radish, repairvite, megaspore probiotic and psyllium for months and I’ve never felt better. After years of doctors just shrugging and telling me to take fiber this was part of the solution to address the issue- low production of stomach acid.

First and foremost, i would like to have seen the vendor be more proactive in answering inquiries about their supplemnts. Designs For Health seems like a legitimate company that cares about the quality of their products and it would be nice to get the same quality of support via Amazon's "ask questions" section. I took this as an alternative to taking antibiotics to see if it would sort out some issues ive been having. I did notice an improvement while taking this for a 30 day treatment. After the 30 days, things resorted to how they were before and this is probably related to my own condition. In my view, this supplement did its job and more. The bottle recommends to take one capsule a day. However, I took 2 capsules twice a day for the first 15 days and then 2 capsules 3 times per day the second half of the month. At about $50 per bottle, this becomes expensive for the dosage that was recommended to me by a physician. I had to buy 3 bottles for my treatment. I also am unsure if this supplement can be taken on a daily basis every day without causing damage or issues. If someone can let me know if this can be taken indefinitely 1 capsule per day as part of a daily consumable , that would be nice to know. Some unexpected effects i noticed were how this supplement impacted my blood pressure/circulation. I dont have high blood pressure but, i noticed that i often felt more relaxed and my heart beats were with less force and slower and this provided a calm feeling. A couple of days i had actually felt almost what i can describe as a feeling of bliss where i woke up feeling completely soothed and relaxed with no aches or discomfort. Its hard to describe but i think this is a related effect to how the ingredients can effect blood circulation. I was intrigued by this feeling so i researched the ingredients on the bottle and did find some similarities to how this made me feel. I never felt this feeling prior to taking this. I realize that this can also have a different effect for different people but im sure this had to do with the high dosage i was taking and probably my own physiological make up. Another unexpected benefit i noticed after taking this was the elimination of pain in some tooth work i had done. I know this sounds random but for some reason when i dont brush my teeth before sleeping, i wake up with a painful mouth. Especially around some toothwork i had done. Im unsure as to why i had this pain or if this means i had infections or what not but the pain is completely eliminated. I was taken back by this and had to rethink the whole mouth pain thing. It is no coincidence that the pain is gone after taking this. I did also find that some of the ingredients in this supplement may be related to that. Athough it seems like some ingredients in this supplement are experimental and have insufficient findings, theres no doubt this did provide some benefits for me. I wonder if there have been any emprical analysis surrounding the use of these ingredients for medicinal or supplemental purposes. I have never taken a supplement before but this was an interesting experience. There are two draw backs i did notice while taking this . 1) I had a hard time falling asleep and often got few hours of bed time and felt restless sometimes and 2) I often had a reoccuring headache or pain on the middle top of my head when taking this and it stopped after ending the supplement. Again, im sure things are different for everyone but these were two side effects i noticed for me. After taking this, i have considered looking at supplements and naturopathic medicine to helping certain conditions. I would recommend this for someone who needs the benefits of something aside from the standard pharmaceuticals in todays society. Do your own research on each ingredient and talk to a doctor or a practitioner to see if this may be suitable for you.

This stuff is great. I've struggled with candida overgrowth for extended periods before, especially during pregnancy. It was awful, and seemed impossible to get rid of. This spring I was pregnant again and started having yeast symptoms again. I read about this stuff and decided to give it a try. One capsule in the morning, half an hour before breakfast, and probiotics at the end of meals (I took Bio-Kult) in just a few days I was seeing results. My husband did the same, and by the end of the bottle of. Microbe-x we were feeling great. I tried another enzyme supplement, but it gave us both stomach pain. This is good stuff, and well worth the price tag.

After a gastrointestinal bug I was having IBS like symptoms and unwarranted weight gain. I tried everything including calorie restrictive diet, thyroid check, probiotics, diuretics, etc. nutritionist was my last choice. Long story short I have SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) that produces IBS-like symptoms. I was cautious about a “supplement” helping. I am taking 3 pills 3x per day WITH strict adherence to the FODMAP diet for the elimination phase (apparently these kill the bad bacteria in the small intestine). I was not to take probiotics, Metamucil, or anything else that interferes with gut flora. It is the only thing that worked IF you avoid foods high on the Fodmap. I am still in the elimination phase of this condition but having some relief has been very welcome.
