Below is my initial review. After having this for a season, I am upgrading the review to 5 stars. I love it. ******* It is fun to see. Ours is darker than the picture, so that the detail does not show well. The paint rubbed off with light touching as we took it out of the box. We always spray our outdoor figures, so this shouldn't be a problem for us. I would not expect to last a full season outdoors if you don't protect it. We use a non gloss uv resistant polyurethane. ... show more

The fountain picture shows bright colors and very pretty. It's not. It is very deceiving. When I received mine it was painted all black and dark brown. Unless you're right up to it, you can't make out what it is. I'll never buy this again. I'll do my research much better.
