It seems like a lot of people who order this product are incapable of putting it together. Because all 4 of the orders were customer returns (even though I didn't get the "used" discount). However, they are very easy to put together (even with very unclear instructions they send them with), they look great, and should be in the 5-star review section. Sturdy, looking good, made out of plywood, not some cheap stuff. I am completely satisfied with the purchase. P.S. I had a damaged part and a missing hardware pack, upon calling the company, they advised that because it's sold through AMAZON, I am to return the whole thing and order a new one. I think it's a waste to do it that way, but it wasn't my choice. ... show more

Absolutely a disaster Do not purchase - piece after piece! Holes not lined up, my carpenter after 27 years of wonderful work & highly recommended (I’m picky) has so far spent 7 hours in 2 days trying to get this cabinet together & still has to come back again tomorrow hopefully to repair & try to get drawer lined up so it’ll close ALL the way! The wood looked nice upon arrival but as it’s being put together by a professional I hired, the wood started splitting putting draw together, the sliders for the drawer are not lined up, cabinet to be 27” wide -front is 27” back is 26.5” .. I’m hoping 2morrow we can Repaired completely or I’m going to HD. I’m so upset as $385 & not done yet! **NEXT DAY** I had to bring in a Contracter - he said right away, “these are not the correct sliders for this drawer! Were they in a sealed bag or box? I think this cabinet was returned, sliders were switched, then re sold to you & shipped to you!” No the sliders were wrapped in paper & taped together in box. He left and went to his shop, came back with new set of sliders - within 10 minutes new sliders he attached, drawer works perfect now & beings it was a Saturday it costs me $250, plus the carpenter I hired that took 2 days to put this horrible quality cabinet together & he costs me $240, plus the cost of this cabinet $206 .. total almost $700 ... show more

The cabinet is nice for what it is. The doors and the drawer are good quality and solid. We purchased it for our laundry room to go next to the washer and dryer stack. The box arrived with tape all around the edges where it had come apart during shipping. Some of the panels were damaged luckily on the back of the unit so it won't be seen. It's all plywood but not the type I grew up with. The internal glue doesn't hold the individual layers together once damaged. For the money it's better materials than what the big box stores have on display for similar money. The assembly procedure left out a few steps like installation of the back panel. Screws to hold the drawer together other than that not bad overall. ... show more

I'm deeply conflicted about this merchandise. On the one hand I like the finished product. On the other, the old travel brochure "Getting there is half the fun" applies. The positives: this is a genuine wood piece: plywood and solid wood. Once assembled it is sturdy and lives up to the ad pictures. However... All of us who have assembled pre-fabricated kit furniture have come to expect bad instructions. This company takes it to a new level: missing diagrams ("as above" but there was no "above"); missing steps, no recommended sequence of assembly. Yes it has numbered steps, but one step may incorporate several fussy assemblies/sub assemblies with clue offered. So for "assembly instructions" it's a solid one star. As to recommended tools, I am grateful I have nearly a full wood shop. I recommend a power drill with a 7/64 bit to re-drill ALL the pilot holes for the small screws. Be careful not to drill through the wood. This manufacturer does not include self-tapping screws and the original pilot holes---most filled with paint---do not let the small screws get started. Add to that the close working clearances that prevent use of power tools and you will begin to create new words as you work. I also recommend using a woodworking set of clamps (at least 30" jaw opening) to compress the dovetail drawer components rather than pounding them together with a rubber mallet (as recommended by mfgr). Do have a damp rag handy to eliminate any errant glue beads. There is a warning for this item on Amazon indicating it's "frequently returned". I can understand why. But if you have the right tools, patience, are creative at problem solving and refuse to be defeated by inferior mfgr instructions you will have a nice stand alone cabinet base. Amazing is one word that comes to mind. These cabinets are great. I have been a builder for a good while and these are just perfect. I never really expected the quality, look and feel. I thought they would be cheaper looking and was ready to upgrade them myself. But, that is not needed, they are very well made. I got these cabinets to do a wet bar in the living room of a house I am flipping. I told my partner I am going to use this brand and style in my next build and probably in my own home, which I am getting ready to start building. . I am just so very impressed with these cabinets, soft close hinges, tongue,and groove, nice solid professional finish. They are better than the higher end cabinets I have in my kitchen.
