I was recommended this line of products by a dermalogica salesperson since it's a little more affordable than their regular line. It really doesn't mattify all that much, in fact it leaves my skin with a light sheen, but it doesn't bother me because it works so well in every other way. My skin is very acne prone and this doesn't make me break out at all. I also really like the scent which is kind of herbal citrusy. I've seen other reviewers complain about it but it's definitely more "natural" since there's no fragrance to cover up the ingredients. A huge plus is that it's SPF 30 and somehow doesn't smell like sunscreen at all, not even a little bit, which I can't stand the smell of. Upon a visit to a qualified esthetician, I learned what damage was occurring and how to prevent it. This clean and pure facial lotion with some sunscreen keeps your skin feeling healthy, clear, and amazing. I use it all over my face and hands but my favorite use if as an aftershave. It is perfect as it does not do damage like aftershave with heavy alcohol. And I cant remember the last time I had an ingrown hair. I wanted to love this product because I have very oily skin that is prone to clogged pores. Sadly, this caused me to have cystic acne (which I typically never get), so I thought I would just use it for my neck and chest area. Nope! The FDA just recently urged companies to pull SPF products containing Octocrylene due to potential health risks, so I will be tossing this bottle in the trash.
