It’s great you can get these things for so cheap these days. This used to be a luxury tool in my opinion but this scope works great! Plenty of line on the camera to get into really hard to reach places. Easy to use and the sd card feature to save your video is really useful if your trying to get advise about a job from somebody later or somewhere else. Not only is this a very good value but the picture and functions are also great, it has a long lead which it needed is a welcome feature. The price has come down and don't know if it will go up again but well worth the money. Grab it while you can.

I built a cave for my pond turtles to keep them safe from raccoons at night. The problem has been that it is so secure, I can't even see in there to check on things. So, I purchased this scope and also a cheaper one from another company. The picture on this one was WAY better than the other one. I can see into the cave and even under the slightly, murky water about 12 inches down. The perfect spy tool! There is only the smallest slivers of light that stream into the cave from the stacked rocks so I am surprised at how bright and clear the images are on the screen. It's kind of freaky having their magnified frowny, turtle faces staring straight back at me. I don't think they are very pleased with me invading their private space. 🧐 The cheaper scope had a handle which made it easier for me to hold but the picture resolution wasn't even close and that is what mattered the most for me. The cord is stiff so it does take a little maneuvering to get the camera where you want it. That said it needs to be stiff so you can wrangle it into those tight spots. So, great product at such a low price. Note: I made a mistake when ordering my first one and had it delivered to the wrong address. I ordered another one for the correct address. The one shipped to the other address went past the return date, but they still honored the return and as a matter of fact decided to have me keep it. Really??? Wow! **UPDATE** - the company quickly reached out to me to troubleshoot the issue, and offered very helpful guidance. They mentioned a specific program (Fig Player) that could potentially read the files, and I downloaded and confirmed that it indeed worked on my end. The files are still unreadable on MacBook with Final Cut Pro, but it’s good to know that you can use that program to view footage if needed. It didn’t solve my issue fully, but I was refunded in the end. I have updated the star rating of the review for the prompt and great customer service received. Original review: If you intend on recording videos to view on a laptop, look for a different product. Photos transfer just fine, but videos are exported as an unreadable AVI file. I attempted changing out the mico SD card, formatting the card each time, and nothing worked. I even tried an AVI file converter program, which again said the file could not be opened.
