The cats are in LOVE with this. We got some feather stick thing at PetSmart awhile back that ended up costing like 15 bucks and they still destroyed it almost immediately. Liked this one because it's inexpensive and it comes with feather replacements. We have NOT been disappointed! They love the way this moves. It extends way farther out than we expected it to, so the pole is a good 3' long when extended. It's almost like a fishing pole but has a nice padded handle to hang onto. The "rope" is like fishing line, and that must make it move and/or sound different, because they are both crazy about it. The first one we tried (looks like the one on the bottom right of the pic) broke apart right away. However, I put a drop of glue on the inside, stuck the feather back in, and it has held tight since. We have tried several of the feathers and the cats go nuts for all of them. We keep it in a closet so they don't accidentally destroy it trying to play with it on their own, and they sit at the door and cry for it until we get it out and play with it. So glad we found this!!

Bottom line: BUY IT!! For the price, it’s unbelievable. I would have easily spent more knowing how wonderful this toy has been for my cat! My cat was obese and a senior when I adopted him a few years back. I struggled to find a toy that would keep him engaged in exercise. This toy has not only helped him lose weight, it’s also made him youthful. He acts like a kitten every time I bring this toy out. We play with it nearly every day and it’s his favorite toy! The pole itself is similar to a fishing rod. It bends the same way, which is perfect for my cat who loves to tug! A very common complaint of this toy I’ve seen in reviews is the end metal piece of the rod being broken. It did happen to me too after a few months, because my cat gets very aggressive with his tugging so it was bound to happen (and usually does happen with any toy). I solved this by adding duct tape and it’s been good as new every since (I’ve had the duct tape on now for over 5 months). It’s still super sturdy and his favorite ever. Note: I was NOT paid or offered any incentive to write this. I’ve just had this toy for a while and it’s helped out my chubby senior cat so much, I just want other cat owners to know how awesome this toy can be for their cats!

I just got my first cat and she's only two months old, so I really had no idea what to get her. All I knew is that she likes play-hunting and that my fiancé recommended I get her a cat wand. I went with this set so I can have options for when I'm at work and can't be there to play with her in person. The toy on a long string was great, easy to set up, but broke quickly, not because my kitten tore it apart like she does most stuff, but because it caught my ceiling fan and snapped. However, the plastic wands are fantastic. I set up the suction cup one and she's been between playing with it and napping for over an hour. None of her other toys have ever worn her out like this, so it's very much a win for me. However, there was one issue, as at one point her claw did get stuck in the feather toy, which is difficult as I keep her claws trimmed. It hasn't happened again, but I definitely won't be leaving her to play with this unattended for long periods of time now. Overall, they're excellent toys and you're getting a lot of them, but be careful where you install the string and suction cup and don't leave a pet unsupervised with them for long periods.

What a great day toy. Comes with plenty of ways to use this toy. We attached it to a window and the cat loves it, playing with it all the time. It comes with so many different attachments. Low noise when cat plays. Attachments have small bell, however it is not loud at all. Great value for the price.

My cat hasn’t stopped playing with this toy since I put it together. It’s been about three days now. For the first night, he played with it for HOURS. It’s the only toy that holds his interest. It’s been great getting his extra kitten energy out and gives the older cats in the house a break from him. With that being said, it has taken a beating. Once he “catches” it, he will lay on it for a while to get a break and tears at the feathers. The wire has held up to the non-stop play and I am grateful for the replacement toys as he loves to rip the feathers out. I also have not had any issues with it sticking to the floor as I read in some comments before I purchased it. It hasn’t moved from where I stuck it unless I’ve moved it myself. I did have to pick a better area as he was getting so crazy with it I was worried he would knock himself out on the corners of our coffee table. If he ever does break it, I won’t hesitate to purchase another one. I can’t say how much he loves this thing!

Each toy attachment lasts about a minute before breaking. Definitely don’t let them play with any pieces unsupervised as the broken parts can be a choking or impaction hazard. Did not stick to floor but is holding up on the wall a little better so far. Fun variety, just extremely cheap- so 3 stars because the cat enjoyed it.

The wire cat wand is superior to the string ones. It’s much more bouncy. And the toys at the end are replaceable. The price is amazing. I haven’t found a cheaper version of this anywhere.

MY CATS ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS. They play with it daily, jumping, attacking….they have learned that if one holds the wand down, the other can attack the feather easier. It keeps them entertained for such a long time. And I love how I can attach it to the floor so I can do other things while they play. This is definitely one of their favorite toys.
