    • Perfect fit, no issues
For 1/5 the cost of a factory replacement, I don't think you can go wrong with this unit. Kind of an involved job, a lot has to come apart to get to the actual radiator. Be careful putting the fans back in, there isn't much clearance and the overflow plastic nipple is easy to break off. Watch a few different you tube videos first, while not perfect,they will point out most things you need to do. If you have a hybrid, you will have to put the car in maintenance mode so the engine will stay running and allow you to get all the air out of the system. For a 2007 highlander this is pretty simple, turn the key to on, pump accel pedal twice, shift to neutral, pump accel twice again, back to park, pump pedal twice more and you are now in maintenace mode. If you did it right the display will tell you so. There is a round 1/4 inch allen head plug on the passenger side by the upper hose, this is to bleed air out of the system without removing the radiator cap.Look for the short tube sticking out the side bythe plug. Installed, but doesn't have any rubber or padding as the original radiator did. Thus when the fan runs it's a bit noisier and rattles a bit. I had to put in my own foam. Also, the metal cleats around the edge were a bit loose in one area compared to the rest, a little pressure and they lined up with the rest of the edging. I selected this unit since my local dealerships couldn't actually get the correct part. Toyota changed part numbers and they couldn't guarantee they would get the right part for 2-3 weeks. Not many people can be without their vehicle for 3 weeks and still want to pay the dealership to install for $1200. Took me 4 hours because none of the instructions talk about the two bolts you have to get out the bottom of the radiator that took 2hours the rest was easy. ... show more

What a pig to install but not the re-sellers fault. Put in a Lexus 2007 RX400h. Had a mechanic friend install - What a bear on the bottom screws. Great product especially for the price. Shipped as promised.

    • Not exactly OEM
Shipping was prompt, but I have two problems with the product: the packaging wasn't sufficient. The radiator was loose in the box and most of the little foam bumpers were laying at the bottom. It turned out to not be a problem as the radiator wasn't damaged, but some will arrive damaged if the packaging isn't addressed. The top and bottom rails are not the same as OEM, they both have a cut through the structural supports, they are symmetrical and look intentional, but the factory rad doesn't have the cuts. Also, the shape of the supports is different than OEM- factory rad has some cutouts and this one is straight across. Not a huge problem, but a couple of plastic parts had to be modified to fit. So two stars because of: poor packaging, not OEM style, and higher price than others (thought I was paying extra for a product that was identical to OEM) ... show more
