I ordered 2 of these blinds because I wanted to be able to use the smart feature. I should have read further to realize I need to order a separate bridge in order to use the “smart” feature, and the bridge has terrible reviews. I also have to order a separate remote to control more than one blind with it. The blinds themselves are easy to install because it’s just like any other set, however the instructions are a bit hard to follow for setting up the remote with them and adjusting the levels. They are not quiet - it sounds like the motor was taken out of a 90’s toy and tossed in here without even a tune up. Unfortunately they are directly next to my bed so the hope I had of gently waking myself up with the sun in the morning is out the window as these will surely get me up with the volume alone. I’m not wowed, but they’ll do. Updating a couple of months later: They don’t work anymore. The solar panel didn’t work and they won’t charge.

I bought these blinds along with a Nest Hub in order to integrate smart home features in to my previously basic bedroom. I was drawn to them due to their relatively affordable nature and the mentioned smart home compatability. Unfortunately, when they arrived, I soon learned that they would not work with my Google Home. While I only worked with this issue for a cumulative two hours over as many days, I did not find a solution. Though I was considering sending them back, I decided to stick with them. They worked well, and blocked out sufficient light. It is worth noting that if you purchase multiple shades (as I did), they each come with a single one channel remote, meaning that you will need one remote per blind. I was able to overcome this, stuffing a DIY light switch in my nightstand drawer. In reference to the attached media - I apologize for the poor quality. The photographs were taken at night on a mobile phone camera.

Got these for skylight windows in bedroom too high for manual blinds. Fairly easy to install & program. Also ordered the single remote. Been up a couple months and work perfect w solar panels - Open every morning, close every day. 1 blind didnt work when arrived but they exchanged it promptly. Theyre not silent but do make a small motor sound. Good light blocking. Small gaps on sides but curtains or trim piece would cover that if needed total darkness.

The instructions you read about it being compatible with Alexa may not be true, but they are not well worded, to make it Alexa compatible you have to buy another gadget (a smart bridge) but the indications given are not right, you put in Amazon "smart bridge B0CXXWL6FM" and you do not find the so called bridge. There is some carelessness I ordered a 52"W x 72" H and I received a 48"W x 72" H. We had unpacked it all when we discovered the with was not right, we had an emergency, and we really needed the shade in the room, so we used part of the material from the blackout light blocking strips and were able to fill in the gap caused by the seller sending a blind that is 4 inch less wide than what was ordered. In 2 words, the product received was of thew wrong size. The instructions about Alexa connectivity are unprecise and confusing
