Description

Produced in Belgium, Demeyere 5-Plus cookware is constructed of five layers: an 18/10 stainless-steel interior that won't react with foods, three layers of fast-heating aluminum and a magnetic stainless-steel base that's compatible with induction burners. Pans heat up quickly, distribute heat evenly and retain it well for perfect searing, browning and frying. Unlike other cookware on the market, these pans have a flat, stable base that won't bulge when heated, ensuring even cooking. Ergonomic handles stay cool on the stovetop, tight-fitting lids promote energy-efficient cooking, and rolled rims prevent spills when pouring. The cookware is oven and broiler safe to 500 degrees F.

    • Worth the effort but be prepared to give them extra care
Great features: heat retention / distribution and are pleasant to look at and cook with. With only a month in use I wasn't quite prepared on what is required to keep the pans cleaned, bright and shining. After a wash comply with the instructions to season to sustain the original shine and color.

    • Gorgeous, high quality cookware
Even though this cookware is GORGEOUS and incredibly high quality, I returned it. The only reason for returning this set was that the majority of pieces were simply too large for just my husband and my needs. There was no 1.5 quart sauce pan available. This set would be perfect if I had 2+ children still at home or we regularly had family dinners with 4+ people per meal. Gorgeous and great cookware. Just too much for us. ... show more

This is a great set of really wonderful pots. I was worried they would be too heavy, after reading a lot of other reviews, but I find them satisfyingly robust, but not awkwardly heavy to pick up! I thought the variety of sizes in the set was good, although it is definitely necessary to supplement with other individual pieces, as one finds with most pre-selected sets. I thought this was good value for some exceptional pots, and I'm happy every day when I'm using them. ... show more
