  • Very surprised and pleased
Pattern Name: Saw Style: 10 Inch
When I looked at this product, my thoughts were why does a saw with the same capability cost 3 times as much. When I got the saw and stand, I was disappointed as I remember Delta used to make very heavy, substantially built stationary equipment. This looked a little lighter duty than advertised - I thought the large pieces of granite I was cutting would crush this. Then I saw you could get it from a box store and not a power equipment place. I had thoughts of consumer grade Rigid tools failing at the cost of $900. Was I wrong! It cut 3'x2' pieces of 2.5" granite, even with the stock blade - Switched to a Bosch hard material blade and it did even better. I did have to use the plunge cut feature but so what - it worked great. It is easy to fold up, deploy, easy to change the blade, easy to clean, lots of water from the easily aimed jets (both sides of the cutting blade) - It works just as advertised and I couldn't be more pleased. Only (minor) issue was when the slide went all the way back, it would drop slightly when the slide rolled off the rail (2 of 3 rollers on the rail remained). it made the piece of granite kick up slightly. I just held it until the motor wasn't so loaded and it kept on going. It was the only way I could cut my material and with a practice cut on a scrap broken piece, I was forewarned and could deal with it. With this much weight I lost water, as it didn't always return to the tray or would slosh - that was based on the heavy weight and no reflection of the saw. With normal sized large stone or tile pieces this saw would be an animal! All in all, in several hours, I did 300' linear feet of cut (took that long only because of measuring and for test fitting). The saw with such large material was not fast, but it gave very nice strait and clean cuts. Thank you Delta for making a great product, and yes I would definitely recommend the machine (Cruzer 10" with stand). ... show more

  • Saw is great
Pattern Name: Saw Style: 10 Inch
The media could not be loaded. Once I got the correct saw went together great. Worked fantastically, cutting tiles can be messy. Had plenty of cooling water and good control on the feed so the mess was minimal never got wet cutting tiles. Cuts were accurate. Small bit of blade deflection. One tile broke but the cut being done was not performed correctly. The saw with the use of grinding wheel reduced tile drop. Waist was very small. ... show more

  • Very well engineered product
Pattern Name: Saw Style: 10 Inch
I did my research before buying a tile saw. The engineers at Rockwell/Delta have outdone themselves on this one. This saw is very well constructed and engineered. I use it indoors just fine although it can be a little difficult to get through doorways. I usually remove the motor assembly first. I expect this saw to last a very long time. Even the original stock blade works extremely well. The stand is excellent. Very heavy duty. Don't buy any crap from Harbor Freight or Home Depot. Spend a little more for this saw. You'll be glad that you did. Once all the table trays are attached to the saw it's pretty big, but creates a nice work area and catches the water just fine. Very little spray. I usually place my pump motor in a five gallon bucket so it's always clean. Use another to drain the reservoir. I'm 6 1" and I find it comfortable to use. ... show more

  • Wowed with accuracy and quality.
Pattern Name: Saw Style: 7 Inch
I’m not a pro, but you certainly can not tell it based on the accuracy of the cuts this saw makes. I’m cutting 16x24x1/2 Travertine lengthwise so accurately that corners are as square as the factory cut edges. Included diamond blade is a quality blade. I’ve since replaced it with a Dewalt XP4. Both allow the motor to cut Travertine like butter. I can’t imagine a wet saw that could do a better job cutting tiles under 24”, especially at this price. I was hesitant buying the 7” saw but I couldn’t justify the expense of its 10” counterpart. No regrets whatsoever. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Junk
Pattern Name: Saw Style: 7 Inch
This saw spits water everywhere. Holds 5 gallons of water and after 5 or 6 cuts there is at least 2 to 3 gallons on the floor. I am a tile installer for a living that is all I do and it was a waste of money and my time

  • Great saw
Pattern Name: Saw Style: 7 Inch
I'm a pro tile guy. Bought this as an extra and it seems to be a well made saw. I used it on a project at my place to make sure it worked, and it cut square and nice with minimal chipping. I knocked it to a 4 star because the knob to tighten the blade cover was bent from the factory. It still works, but was packaged tight in foam and someone at the factory had to see it and let it go through. ... show more

Pattern Name: Saw Style: 7 Inch
The package had be repacked from factory major cosmetic defects i wasn't aware or informed that this product was a return refurbished and or shipment damaged! The tray seems to have a spot where it is little tight when I purchased this it was well below typical price mark but I still feel this is unfair I really need saw rn so I'm stuck also can't find an original purchase agreement that I had made could use better way keeping track these purchase slips ... show more

  • Get the roller stand
Pattern Name: Saw Style: 7 Inch
I'm redoing a kitchen and a couple baths, so buying makes more sense than renting. Hope to recoup half of my investment selling it used when I'm done. Loud but not as terrible as some say (still want to wear hearing protection). The folding stand is great. Lets one person move it and when in the vertical position makes for compact storage against the garage wall. Cuts ceramic tiles like butter, haven't tried it on stone yet. Love the easy 45 degree bevel cuts. ... show more
