Couple years after i bought delonghi Alesia espresso maker, the rubber gasket at the bottom of caraffe wore out and there was leakage under cooking pressure. Unable to replace the gasket, i bought the entire caraffe assembly and now make sure that when I screw it onto the aluminum cooking base not to tighten too much, just lightly because it seals itself through expansion due to heat. Seems identical to the original and works well. You'll simply need to re-use the screen and gasket from your old carafe as this one doesn't come with either of those.

Fitted my Delonghi Alicia perfectly. Had to replace original that broke when hitting the floor. Didn't want to buy a new mokka machine so I opted for getting a replacement. Nothing to say about shipping times and package, all met the expectations.

The first carafe was accidentally run through the dishwasher and broke at the hinge. This replacement has worked perfectly with my old Alicia on a daily basis.
